It's interesting how much I like talking with you...

"That might cause some strange side affects..." He trailed off as he watched her write, but put he ever asked her what language she was writing in. He looked back at his cola, which was gone. He never said anything, even after Ocean's notepad stopped giving off the scratching sound that appeared when she was writing.

"Sounds like a good prank potion... That is, if there are no harmful side affects. But with a potion like that, I doubt that there would be any harmful side affects." "Harmful side affects? Really? With a color changing potion, there are no harmful side affects."

"So from my coat color to a lime green, hmm? That had to be interesting." He chuckled. "Can you control which color the coat of a pony will turn; I mean, can you make a potion that will make the coat of a white pony into, say, a black coat, or a red coat?" "Don't get deep, Nightfall..."

"Ok... But... What do you do, Ocean?" He noticed that she had moved to his other side, and glanced to his other side. He noticed the wet ponies, and blinked. "She had a hooficure, but she doesn't want to get wet period... Otherwise, she wouldn't have moved... I'll have to ask her later."

"Right, right... Forgive me if you've already told me, but what do you do at your shop again?" "Yeah, I'm pretty sure she told you... meaning you're pretty stupid for not remembering what she does for a living." He blushed, and looked back out to the small patch of ocean.

"I don't know... Staying in Canterlot may be what I do for the rest of my life, but- but even so, there are some places around it that are wonderful... There are a few waterfalls that I know of that are generally unknown... But to be honest, I don't know where I would go..."

He sipped his cola, then looked around. He glanced at Ocean before finishing his own drink. "It's strange... There are many things like that in this world. It'd be interesting to one day see a few of them, or at least a few, from both perspectives... You know, to know the experience."

"Yeah... I think it would still look really nice, even for those who aren't couples. Somethings are romantic for couples and nice for others, right?" "What are you even doing?" The bartender set down his cola, and he immediately took a sip of it, blushing slightly.

"Oh! I'll just have a cola, please." He blushed slightly. "Ordering a soda this early? Well, then..." He sighed slightly, and looked out passed the pool. There was a slight view of the ocean. He wished this minibar were closer to the edge of the ship so he could see the ocean better.

He got onto the seat next to her and smiled. "It is early in the day, so it shouldn't be too surprising that the bar isn't crowded yet." "Oh, come on. Now you sound like you're correcting her... you're doing things weird again. Maybe this is why you aren't in a relationship..."

"You didn't notice... then again, how many times have you been looking at other ponies' hooves? Almost zero. Hmm... Well, Ocean doesn't seem well..." "Ocean, are you all right? You seem a little on edge right now..." "Now you sound hostile. Too late to take that back, though."

Nightfall stayed back for a bit, observing Ocean move the water out of the way, before slowly moving back next to Ocean. "You know, you should ask her if she has some kind of reaction if she touches water... you know, like an allergic reaction or something like that." "O-Ocean..." "You're actually doing it... I'm surprised." "Ocean, do you have some kind of... of, er- some kind of reaction when you come in contact with water?" He almost mumbled it, so only really she could hear it, besides himself.

"No, I've never been on a cruise before. I've been on an abandoned boat before, but that's different, and an interesting story..." He sighed slightly. "Have you ever been on a cruise before?" "Getting to know her... well, congrats. You've decided that since the other two never showed up, you'd try with Ocean? After all, she doesn't seem that bad, so you could be making a good decision here..."

He chuckled slightly as she trotted ahead. "Well, we made it." "Does she need to be in front? If she is, I have to look at the ground, and she'll ask why I want to look at the ground, and that's where things would get embarrassing and ridiculous." He trotted outside, then stood next to her. "Now... Where is the pool again..."

Nightfall looked up and saw Ocean trotting away. He blushed slightly, again, and trotted up beside her. "As much as I hate asking for advice or directions, when the worst case scenario is asking for help, I don't mind at all; I actually prefer it." He smiled slightly.

"Yeah, sure." He got up, blushing slightly as well, and trotted over to the door. "You will have to lead the way, since I don't know where this little bar is." "And no, don't stare at her flank while you're walking... Maybe you should walk beside her so you don't get tempted..."

"Tea is relaxing, so I'll give you that. But really... do you drink tea for its relaxing properties, or is there some other reason?" He mentally hoofpalmed, and stood up. "Oh, great, just what you didn't want to do: intrude into somepony else's life. And now you probably are..."

Nightfall looked at the bits, then at Ocean. "Why does everypony feel like paying? I have bits of my own, and while it's a nice sign, it's starting to get... I don't know. I just wonder why everypony insists on paying when I'm around... It feels that way..." "I won't leave you sitting on the side of the pool alone; forget the pool. The bar sounds good enough."

"Well then, why not the pool? I'd like to see more water magic, and in maybe a bigger area so you could do more with the water." He smiled at her. "What if this turns into a bad idea? Will she hate you for bringing the pool back up? She looked a little distressed last time you did..."
