  1. @@ForthEorl, "Of course," Blitz said, nodding. "Have you met my sister, Glider?" "I don't remember meeting him," Glider interjected, smiling tentatively at the other pony. She was hesitantly curious--she didn't know the last time she'd seen Blitz freely talk to another pony on her own will, in such a friendly tone. Blitz tended to make friends with ponies who ended up being important. Perhaps this pony was important too. "What do you do, Sharp?
  2. Judetal nodded, a flash of impatience entering her countenance. "Tests are fine. I can take a test." The Argonian paused, then added after a moment, "though, I would prefer it to be a test of combat. I have not had the learning that others here may have had." She raised her eyebrows at 'Jade', saying nothing at his flat remarks. So far, he had left the most note on her. So far, that note had not been a positive one.
  3. Judetal grinned at the Invoker, her liking for him abruptly much higher. She glanced, annoyed, at the dwarf's curtness, and muttered, "A lot of anger in that small body." She nodded at the Invoker. "It will be a pleasure to work with you, Sir Merik. I am looking forward to this epic quest, and earning glory for my people."
  4. Caramel followed Blizzard, beaming that the plan had worked. Well, sort of. "We need to get going. We stayed way too long with that siren." Caramel said, trying to sound upbeat. She was silent for a moment as they continued onward, then commented on something that had been troubling her. "Listen, guys... we can probably expect a fight when we get to the top of the tower. We'll have to be in top shape. I'm going to be trusting you guys to watch your back." She paused. "Yeah, that's it. Dunno where I was going with that one. Glad the siren's gone for now, though."
  5. @@ForthEorl, Blitz and Glider, after working through the day, decided to go eat some lunch. They made their way into town, and Blitz stopped, spotting Sharp. After a moment of consideration, Blitz decided to go over to him. He looked like he had the same goal they had at the moment--finding some food. Blitz trotted up to him. "Sharp," she greeted mildly. "I haven't seen you lately. How are you?" Glider, meanwhile, looked around. She spotted a stall of an oat seller and subtly pointed it out to Blitz. Blitz noticed. "Would you like to have some oats with Glider and I?" she asked the other, gesturing at the stall. (EDIT: OOC: Sorry if I've messed something up. Haven't posted in way too long! Tell me and I'll edit.)
  6. Judetal had blinked at the chained man upon his captors' revelation. A small streak of pity went through her. She knew very little about the way humans worked, and things like this made her rethink that--she really knew nothing at all. Destroy an entire city..? She had seen the behemoths, the gargantuan hives that these people called cities. This man was not to be taken lightly--but as the aggressive one said, he was not to be respected yet, either. She glanced at the dwarf, stepping forward as she ignored his speech. "Very well, I accept these conditions of yours, and I shall personally take responsibility for injecting this man as necessary," Judetal said. She didn't like it, but honestly, keeping this man with her would probably spare more lives in the long run. She could fight him herself if he lost control. She eyed the chained man evenly. "Do you speak, Invoker? What do you call yourself?" she glanced at the captors', her gaze annoyed. She didn't want them to answer. She wanted to hear this danger answer her himself.
  7. Because school's starting up, I'm going to be much less active. Likely, I will be able to get on only once every 2-3 days. Sorry to my RP buddies in advance!

  8. @@Jellal Fernandes, Judetal stared. And stared. She didn't know whether to burst out laughing, look on in horror, or point blank start smashing things. Her eye twitched as the familiar spite told her to do the latter. She ignored it for now. She would have time for that. "This... this is our... commander?" she asked after a moment. Despite her thick accent, disbelief was clear in her tone. "He is broken. He looks as if he cannot walk, let alone engage into combat." Was this going to be a waste of time? She hoped not. Well, she hardly had anything better to do. She considered moving over to help the pitiful creature that was to be their leader up. She changed her mind. If he could not stand up alone, why was she here?
  9. Talisman was embarrassed. There was no other word to describe the moronic feeling inside her chest as she doubled back, again stuffing the soccer ball which was the unfortunate cause of this feeling into her backpack. It wasn't allowed to take school equipment outside of the main buildings and field on campus, and she was already practically at her dormitory. Her room was located in the furthest section of the student housing buildings from the main campus, too. She began to jog, annoyed at the panic of the equipment rooms being locked up--though, they hardly ever were, she reasoned. Mostly for her, as she'd had a shouting match with one of her teachers about it at one point, always wanting to practice afterwards... but, well. She was passing near the main building, considering her homework. She had ditched it several times before, and had received a warning of the suspension of her scholarship, which she couldn't afford, so she knew she had to work on her mandatory history course even if she really, really didn't want to... and even if that feeling of not caring about dumb human monkeys from so long ago doing insane battles with lots of blood on top of pretty horses didn't appeal to her. It once had, she knew strangely--but for some reason, it felt less important now. @@Durandal, @@Ochre_Dust Stuck in the train of thought, she crashed directly into the back of the weird guy from earlier. Normally, the force of her run might've toppled the other over, but here his stance was so correct that she stumbled backwards. "Ow!" she muttered, then looked up at him. She immediately processed the fact that the girl had left. "Hey again," she said, about to continue, then changed her mind. "Er--where'd the girl go?" Was that someone over there? No, she must have imagined it. No wait, there he was, walking away, everything about his posture screaming 'I AM DANGEROUS AND ANGRY, BUT HIDING IT FAIRLY WELL'. She watched him suspiciously as she waited for a response, shifting her backpack's position on her back.
  10. "Fast!" Caramel said cheerfully as Tyra came in. She hadn't shot her arrow, for fear of shooting Ticktock--now she did, to stall the siren as she spoke again. "Blizzard--pony Blizzard--freeze the siren! Now!" She lifted the cage easily with her telekinesis, and maneuvered it easily through the air towards the siren. She couldn't have it dodge. "Ready?!" she called.
  11. Judetal eyed her companions. She had been for some time, judging them calmly. She was more still now than she had been in... hmm... since... she was more still now than she ever had been, she decided, even with the frequent tap-tapping of her worn boots, and fiddling of her scaled fingers. Then, the people who had been nearby beyond the door, speaking in a low buzz she couldn't quite understand (she wasn't fluent in English yet, and thus unless someone spoke very clearly in a tone directed at her, she often had trouble understanding), came in. They gave them their orders, and she was immediately surprised at the rather aggressive response of her previously silent teammates-to-be. She glanced briefly at the human she thought was named 'Jade', especially surprised at his sudden outburst, though she agreed with one point. "Yes, where is our leader?" The Argonian questioned, standing up, noting with satisfaction that she stood higher than several of the other occupants in the room. "We are looking forward to meeting this man. We are also looking forward to killing orc, however, and are ready to leave at your notice." This was said rather dryly and with a hint of cynicism--she didn't like being expected to obey orders from these people who she knew very little about--though under her accent, it just came out curt and to the point. She eyed the Khajiit suspiciously. She liked him the least of her companions already. His bow and swords caused a streak of suspicion through her--she had never heard of anyone using weapons that outdated. Even her hammer was finely made to keep up with modern times, could be thrown surprisingly well, and block projectiles with enough skill. The mutter she had heard (and again, didn't understand) didn't help her opinion of him. "Also, we would know if these people that are to be our teammates are..." she reached through her English vocabulary, searching for the correct word. As she did, her tongue darted out subconsciously, licking her lips. "trustworthy." She finished after a moment.
  12. "So, while she does that, we just stall him more than he's already stalled us?" Caramel asked the others, a little annoyed--mostly with her inability to do anything about the situation. "Because he's probably just doing that, judging by the fact he hasn't attacked us at all yet." She glanced at the siren. "I'm going to try to calmly shoot it. Anyone have objections?" she didn't bother to lower her voice. She was a good enough shot that she could tell that even if the siren resorted to teleportation, she could hit it. Probably.
  13. That's super nice! What a lovely reason to have her as a favorite character. It almost made her best pony in my opinion, too, except Pinkie just makes me laugh too much.
  14. @@Little Red Glider had helped Blitz all morning running around and talking to ponies Glider didn't know who were involved in construction, and Glider was bone tired. Well, not quite bone tired, mostly mentally exhausted, she decided. She just wanted a break from hearing voices respectfully talking to Blitz and their owners eying her blankly, a gaze she truthfully returned. She stretched her wings, yawning (a little pointedly in a passive aggressive manner), and glanced at Blitz. "Hey, Blitz. Do you want to get something to eat? It's pretty late, and we've barely eaten anything all day." Glider commented on this last fact in a similar pointed manner, but still in her soft, affectionate tone she used when addressing her sister.
  15. Back from camp! It was awesome, I learned a ton. Working on catching up on my RPs!

  16. @@Guirdann, @@Shift, "What?" Caramel said, a little dazed as she jolted back to reality. Celestia, she was tired. She checked her health bar. Oh. That was why. She appeared to have been taking damage over time... She searched her inventory for a health potion and came up empty. "Discord's lion paw, dangit, no potions." Caramel mumbled. "Sweet Celestia, I hate having no health. Just makes me feel tired." Caramel nodded in agreement after Equinox stated her thoughts on the present matters. "Yeah, we need to get back to the guild. We have an unusual bunch. Maybe one of them can help you." She said to Gold cheerfully, despite her current fatigue. "And this 'Tranquil Orb' does sound interesting... Maybe there's somepony in one of the towns that can appraise it or something. Either way, we should get out of here. Anypony have a teleportation device?"
  17. See everyone in a week! Bye!

  18. Talisman relaxed. No, she was being ridiculous. The thought was a rather unnerving one--she was usually calm and collected, except on the field. She shook the newspaper out of her head, and the man and the girl. She would see the girl tomorrow, and the man... was some parent or something. No, wait, he looked too young for that. But what were the chances that some random encounter while she had been practicing was a kidnapping? Yeah, zero. No chance. Definitely wasn't going to be related to the disappearances. With this in her mind, she finished her soda with a loud slurp. She tossed the can in the nearest trash can, chuckling a little to herself. The girl was fine. In fact, just to make sure, she jogged back to the entrance of the school and peeked out of a nearby window. And, there they were, still talking. She opened the door, grinning as she jogged past the merry couple. It was time to head home, with a good Pepsi in her system, too. She'd need to work that off. She waved at them. "Hey, be careful, you two! You never know who to trust," she said in a lower voice, mostly to the girl. Just in case. That was all. Then she was away. Plenty of homework to do, after all.
  19. "Alright," Caramel said, a little frustratedly to Ticktock, "Then how do we..." she breathed, calming herself. "How do we beat it?" she asked, straight-faced. "It doesn't seem to care if we attack it physically. Ticktock, you know the most about magic. Do you know how to defeat dark magic? Sweet Celestia, do you know how to defeat dark magic?" she asked Dark hopefully.
  20. @@Shift, @@Guirdann, Caramel stared at Gold for a solid minute. "I... what just happened?" she asked blankly, then shook herself. "Never mind, I don't think I want to know. Just... you're not going to have a psychopathic break when you meet the rest of the guild, right, Goldilocks?" she asked uncertainly.
  21. @@Jellal Fernandes, @@Ochre_Dust, @@Little Red Glider smiled agreeably at Peregrine's suggestion, and her recently subdued flush heated again at Guy-Man's banter directed at her sister. "I think it's a great idea, too," she said to Peregrine, making no response to Guy-Man's hint except for a playful tap on his shoulder with her wing. "But, I'm pretty much ready to call it a day. I think I'll make sure the weather's okay--that's mostly why I'm here, after all--and then I'll join you guys in the tent." She nuzzled Blitz and touched her wing to Guy-Man's. She gave Peregrine a friendly nod. "Bye, guys!" she added cheerfully, spreading her wings and taking off. She immediately relaxed against the wind. What a big day this had been... what a wonderful day, where he'd returned! And now, she could do what she did best. Remove that cloud over there, and watch the shadow disappear as sun poured down. She loved flying.
  22. @, Talisman blinked at the girl, who looked like she was having a cross between a seizure and an urge to run for her life as she attempted weakly to get her papers back. "Right..?" Talisman said uncertainly, and added sarcastically, "Looking good, definitely." She looked at the man suspiciously, raised two fingers from her eyes and gestured at the man, in an "I'm watching you" movement. She wasn't, really, she just wanted this weird creepy guy to know that if he tried anything funny, he would be caught! and brought to justice! "Since everything's... er... in order," she said, once the positioning got awkward, and began to walk off in a random direction. Wait, no, she was heading back inside! Her eye twitched as her mind went into overdrive. Turn around, pretend that she hadn't just did a 180 for no apparent reason? That looked stupid, even to her. She decided she'd definitely done that on purpose, as she was hungry. Yes, definitely hungry, and her subconsciousness was steering her towards the cafeteria. She walked proudly through the hall, then realized--she still had the ball under her arm! Was outdoor equipment allowed inside at the university? Better safe than sorry. She casually leaned against the wall and attempted to fit the ball into her backpack. It took some effort, and once she managed it, it looked like she was carrying a suffocated baby inside her backpack... but eh, it didn't look that bad. At least most of the students had cleared out. She slipped stealthily into the cafeteria, still struggling to return her bulging pack onto her back. A surprising amount of people were in the cafeteria, considering classes had mostly ended for the day. She eyed the soda machine, picked out a Pepsi, after much consideration, and slipped into the nearest chair at an empty table. She considered the groups of students and teachers, talking quietly amongst themselves. A vague memory struck her. Jogging to school, past the newspaper office, papers in the window, headlines-- Police puzzled after another disappearance at the university And, with a sudden horror, she remembered the weirdo guy, bumping into the weirdo girl, seemingly so innocently! She gasped, spewing out some soda. Her eyes narrowed as she stared at the wall. Was it..? No, maybe a coincidence. But then he had questioned her work, looking too interested. No, why should she care, anyway? It was just a possible kidnapping about to happen, and she could stop it--and if she did, she would be a hero... She considered the wall painstakingly.
  23. "Let's go!" Caramel yelled a battle cry and launched her knives at the siren, pulling out her bow and firing several arrows in a quick flurry of movement. "You're going down, stupid fish!" She hated fish, anyway. Especially when eaten. Especially when other ponies ate them. Ugh, that was disgusting.
  24. Caramel swore quietly at Dark's last statement. "You sure I can't call you Blivvy, or something?" she asked vaguely, already expecting the answer as she eyed the siren. Right. He wasn't moving, and she had a perfect shot--but she doubted it would work, judging from their last encounter. Dark magic wouldn't work anyway, as that seemed to be the siren's specialty. Maybe it's opposite would work. Unfortunately, she hadn't ever heard of any real 'light magic' if that was even the technical name for it--she suspected the Elements of Harmony might work, but she was stuck beyond that. "Well, guys, I have no idea. Anyone hear have a really, really bad voice? That might scare this thing away, if it doesn't scare us away first." Caramel suggested half-heartedly.
  25. @@Pelate, Talisman eyed Sketchy suspiciously. "Seaddle, huh? Never heard of it. Sounds suspicious. You're a spy, aren't you?" she asked. In truth, she had scarcely heard the pony names of any town or region, so this was nothing unusual, but it was a fun idea so she entertained it. She glanced at the clock. Talisman's jaw fell. "Oh crap, Caramel's going to kill me." Talisman stated. "See you later, spy." The last word came out as a hiss for dramatic effect, and then she had bolted off, looking for the right room--15, or something, if she remembered--and she found it, quickly stumbling in. Caramel, sitting near the back, beckoned her, looking annoyed. Talisman padded over. "Where have you been?" Caramel asked, annoyed. "You better not have held any other student up. I've heard you can get a detention for something like that." As Talisman's mouth opened, Caramel interjected, sighing, "No, I have no idea what a detention is, but it sounds bad." Talisman sat down, and just as she did, the test appeared. She blinked at all the wild accusations being thrown about as she haltingly read the text. "This doesn't look good for you," Caramel chuckled. An idea struck Talisman. Right now, she was the suspicious one. If she could bring that to somepony else... "Hey!" the lion called out, leaping onto her desk, attempting to distract everypony. She couldn't afford this organized earth pony's plan of everypony raising their hoof to work (partially, because she had no hoof, and partially, because she saw she had been the last to arrive--and just before the test, too!). "I found a spy, from someplace he called 'Seaddle'! He called himself 'Sketchy', too, a fitting name, I might add! I am sure he is the culprit!" she cried. Caramel was looking at Talisman very oddly. Oh well, she had to do this, to save her name!
