  1. Ugh... remember when I said that that was the only embarrassing moment I've had... yeah that's changed..."The only embarrassing time I've had" (quotes self) so my friend decided to be the jack of all trades in asshattery. I was discussing with someone not him, about Vinyl Scratch. Well he's a brony and out loud decides to say "I bet you 'wubbed' her all night." After promptly going red, I punched his arm. Stares were pointed in my direction. Some that knew what just happened laughed. Yeah I may or may not have glared at him the rest of the day I had the chance
  2. The only embarrassing time I've had with this is when my dad sporadically opens my door. We were talking about My day at school. Normal right? Well I was feeling particularly tired that day and lightly tossed my Vinyl Scratch wallet onto the foot of my bed. So when my burst in the door, he sees a new item that contrast quite well with a white blanket. A purple and black wallet with dj pon3 on it. He picks it up and looks at it, "where did you get this?" he says. "A friend gave it to me" I say which isn't a lie. I in fact did get it from a friend named Kim. Shivers run up my spine and my heart jumped out of my chest. My dad places my wallet back and silently walks out of my room. I later found out he already knew I was a brony. He uses a lot of technology so he knows alot about everything.that was the most embarrassing. And also my downfall. Oops.but now I live in the house hold not judged and watch and enjoy myself as I please.
  3. I wholeheartedly agree. With this of course hehe
  4. Now that we've effectively covered bad stuff, let's reveal the good parts. First: The music is craze amaze. Songs I've heard from aviators, forestrain, decibelle, and many others that take an incredible amount of time to list off, make eye opening songs that make you feel good about yourselves and some may even help you through some situations. Second: The people. Every person that is discussing this with you is so you understand that you're not alone. The people that take the show for what it's meant to be and are willing to help you through your discomforts or insecurities or what have you. The people that are willing to unify this world for the better by spreading love and tolerance. The people that will stand by you and are willing to help you at a moments notice. We are about something that's bigger then I'll ever be. It's about honesty kindness laughter generosity and loyalty. These are, have been, and always will be the traits that make up the magic of friendship. I define a brony as an individual that watch the show and believe in their heart that the messages that are represented through the show, are correct in they're entirety, and at which point, the defining characteristics are put into an everyday practice. There are many more reasons, none that I can come up with at this moment, but they are there. So how bout it. Let's come up with more good reasons to be apart of the bronies.
  5. Man I avoid it at all costs. Twitter not bad and Facebook is fine but tumblr is horrid
  6. No my apologise tumbler is though I've been on it and there was only nudity drugs and cursing that I saw Nah you seem pretty chill
  7. Breath bro. As posted above, there are negative and positive things that come with the fandom. I understand the skepticism and probable inclination of avoiding the fandom. Unfortunately as a society we've adopted this idea of boys should like boy things, and girls should like girly things. We "bronies" or fans of the show are hypocritical when we don't think things though, we potentially and inevitably cause ourselves to be shown as bad or corrupt. We good bronies are shoved to the background and are ignored. This gives us our infamous bad name. I go by a strict honor code that many of the good and true bronies go by. Love and tolerance is that code. It's loving everyone for their differences and tolerating their right to like or dislike whatever they please. There are three types of bronies in my opinion: The normal fan: they buy a couple plushies, shirts and watch the show The fanboys: these people get in some insane arguments and debates about the show and flip out if you don't agree. (I'm between one and two) Then there are the obsessed: these Neanderthals (no offence) are crazy. Consistently telling you to watch the show follow the fan base and if you don't there going to beat you. They are the one that continuously talk about murder and rape and are honestly creepy. So yeah we have bad and good. But look for the good and expect the bad. You'll never, well almost never go wrong and you'll save yourself a lot of trouble and heartache. And alive cuz well, some of it regularly gives me headaches. And if you don't want to refer yourself as a brony, then don't. What matters is that you are who you want to be. And if someone has a problem with that, well it's a good thing you're not them. Monotonous evil and corrupt unless handled with intensive care.
  8. Glad to have you here. I'm new as well and hoping that this site will bring what the guidelines say. Which is respect and harmony.
  9. I am a music fanatic! I know a ton of songs (most by Aviators)however, like Twily and her books, I'm always looking for a way to expand my "Library." So if you like music, say what type (genre) band or names of songs. I think Vinyl Scratch and Octavia would be happy, don't you?
  10. AAAHH,hehe. Hey, everyone. I'm new to this site. I've visited forum after forum. Hope this is the one I continue to come back to. Anyways, does anyone know a good site I can get mlp merchandise. I've looked but unfortunately, I'm sorta horrible at finding stuff on the internet when it comes to shopping. Anyone got any good suggestions?
