@@Denim&Venom, A couple things I need to clarify, due to your post: First, the scene with Doctor Xeno moaning in pain is happening at his body in the forest, his spirit being in the battle in Ponyville slowly fading (I mentioned you with that post because I think the little foxes are still there). Second, the scene in the future was meant to be visible, especially to Priestess who would be able to see the demonic form of The Forgotten One almost getting hit by her arrow. I realize I probably could have written these details much more clearly.

But no! Its speed triggered a reaction in the Chaos Venom, causing it to tear a hole in the fabric of time itself! On the other side of the tear can be seen the same part of town but with more damage to the buildings. The clock tower shows the time to be several long minutes in the future. The Forgotten One is fully visible there and has a much more demonic form. Charlie can be seen off to the side connected to the stick that Priestess has, which is lying on the ground. The balcony that Penny is currently standing on seems to have been destroyed. From her perspective, Penny can't see any of this. All she can see is the arrow disappearing along with Miststalker and Carl, who were carried by Zhu's winds into the opening. Priestess should be able to see the arrow nearly reaching its mark between The Forgotten One's eyes, but the portal closes too soon to know wether it makes contact. "I know you could not have foreseen that Zhu, but fret not. All is as it should be," The Traveller said in response to the current events. "Now concerning the circumstances of your hatching, not all events that occurr are a result of my influences. Though you would never have existed if not for me creating your species and guiding events to lead to your egg being laid, that which gave you your gift was not my intention. I even tried to prevent your egg from being damaged the first time, fearing it would cause irreparable harm to you. Another timeline I even tried to raise you myself, but that didn't end well. Each timeline created a different version of you, each with drastically different personalities. None that would have been willing to come here could survive the trials of your life. Many took wrong turns leading toward darker paths, while many more were too interested in helping those they cared for to see the bigger picture. Sometimes fate must be guided, but in your case, the early parts of your life needed no interference. The more I tried to help you, the worse things became." A sadness could be heard in his voice, especially when he spoke of raising one version of Zhu himself. Though some spend their lives wondering about the could-have-beens, The Traveller lived them, many times. Shortly after the portal closed, The Forgotten One turned to face Penny on the balcony. She took a defensive stance, planning on fighting with everything she had, but the destruction that could be seen in the future should be a good hint as to what would happen if she stood there much longer. @@Rapid Wind Starlight sipped her chocolate milk slowly while waiting for the food to arrive. She wasn't exactly sure what to say. Hopefully the food would arrive soon, and hopefully there wouldn't be an issue with them having "outside food" at a restaurant. @@Blitz Boom @@Mentis Soliloquy @@Denim&Venom Meanwhile, back in the forest: "Uuuggghhhhh," the still sleeping Doctor Xeno groaned in pain. "That doesn't sound good. Hold on," Seamore said before quickly grabbing a bunch of leaves and piling them under the changeling's head like a makeshift pillow. "There, hopefully that helps." @@Blitz Boom @@Moonlit @@Hazard Time "Well I guess we're done for the day," Derpy said while walking out of the water. "I don't want to wake her up, so I'll just be going now." @@Rapid Wind @@Blitz Boom "Sure, but keep in mind, we'll need to move quickly if we need to replace the supports. It can be a bit tricky. As long as you think you can keep up, I believe we can get it done without incident," Penny said in response to Stargazer as they made their way out the door.

I most likely won't have much time to post until Saturday, but I will have twelve days off of work then, so we can start to power through some parts of the Roleplay.

@@Rapid Wind @@Blitz Boom "I'll help with reconstruction. I have had to fix my roof a few times, failed experiments and such," Penny added amongst the other offers for help. She had decided she should at least stay to help with repairs since she was involved with causing some of the damage in the first place. Meanwhile, Princess Twilight was writing up a list of who was on what teams, using the names of the guards from the uniforms, and representing the rest with their cutie marks until such time she could get their names. Luna began to speak in a toned down version of her Royal Canterlot voice, "Now that the teams have been decided, We would like to announce that there will be an award ceremony for those that fought the creature, as well as for those who have guarded it over the millennia to prevent its escape. At this time, we do not have an exact date, as arrangements have yet to be made. With that, this meeting has concluded. Last Stand, you may now take charge of your teams." The other guards and volunteers began to get out of their seats and make their way out into the hall.

Derpy was impressed at how fast Serenade was learning, though it's not often she gets students her age. @@Rapid Wind @@Blitz Boom "Yes, I have heard you and your family fought for many years defending the crystal, not knowing what it was. I must thank you for your bravery. As for your offer to help, you can lead the reconstruction teams." Celestia decided it was best to give Last a position where she could make a difference without too much physical strain. She was still recovering, but her kind weren't the type to let that stop them from doing as mush as they possibly could. "Okay, so you two," Twilight said to Stargazer and Rapid Wind, "are on the transport teams, flying supplies up to the rooftops, while Last will be in charge of all reconstruction efforts. Any other volunteers for supply runners and builders?" Some of the others began volunteering themselves for different positions, without much pause between them where Rapid Wind might be able to respond to Twilight assuming he meant he would do the same task as Stargazer. Penny remained in her seat, not paying much attention to who volunteered for what. She was exhausted from the fight the day before, and at this point, all she wanted was to get some rest before heading home.

I say go for it. You need to claim your independence, and this might even teach them to treat you better in the long run. Restraining orders are typically temporary, so maybe by the time it runs out they'll understand how they make you feel.

A great rage was coming from The Forgotten One, powerful enough that any changeling could feel it's anger and hatred. For beings that feed off love, hatred could be sickening, but hatred as pure as this was like a poison. Miles began to fade, being weakened by the powerful surge of emotion. He was too close, with Quinch attacking the creature directly. Quinch's ability to see the creature would fade, as well as his ability to hit it. "I... I can't..." he said weakly to Quinch, his strength fading. The creature took to the sky with a few flaps of its massive wings. Wings... "Wait... Since when did that thing have wings!?" Penny shouted from the balcony. As the beast ascended out of the way of Last's, Quinch's, and Sylar's attacks, Ko's daggers passed right through it, but the poison stayed on its skin, burning like acid and giving off a steam that all could see. With the distance to Charlie and The Forgotten One growing, the pull on the stick Priestess held would grow as well. It wanted to be closer... It had to become whole again. The Traveler heard Zhu's comment. "If I had your abilities, it would have been much easier to set the stage, but alas, I do not have your gift and must rely on trial and error. Many times I have moved the pieces, and I still cannot be sure that the outcome will be desirable. If this time I fail, I will try again. That is the way it must be." @@Rapid Wind "Well, why drink chocolate milk without a straw?" Starlight responded before pulling a hair out of her mane with her magic. The hair grew thicker and became the hollow tube of a loopy straw. She then levitated the glass over to herself, put the straw in and started drinking.

Today didn't go as I expected. I'll try to get a post in tomorrow.

I'll do my best to try to get a post in tonight, but I can't make any promises. If i don't, I will at least try to get it done by the end of the day Saturday. . It seems I'll be postponing my post until late tomorrow night or some time Saturday. Today was exhausting, and I need sleep.

The invisible hand struck the ground right where Quinch once stood, but Quinch was too fast for him and had already begun his attack. The ground shook. Penny went into a nearby building, running up the stairs and out onto a balcony in an attempt to reach higher ground, a tactical advantage she could probably use. Miststalker thrust one of his swords into the ground, now that he had confirmation of the beast's location. Carl did the same a distance away, then moved to a third location trailing web from the first sword. Once he reached his new position on the other side of the battlefield, he thrust his other sword into the ground and attached the other end of his web to it. He then shot a web at Miststalker's sword, connecting it to the sword he just placed. Meanwhile, Miststalker shot a web to Carl's first sword, connecting it to his to complete a triangle surrounding the battlefield. Sylar would have the other piece to this cage, a crystal that would ensnare the creature to lock it in combat until either it died or the Ananasi. Sylar was however torn from this world and the memories of those in it, so they were merely acting out orders of a plan with a missing piece. The triangle they made would however serve its other purpose: it would pick up the creature's vibrations and vibrate itself, signaling the creature's location. Sisilia climbed onto The Traveler and laid on her back with her head resting between his horns, the chunk of flesh still in her mouth. The Traveller didn't seem to care, he was instead focused on Queen Allure and the stick she had brought. There was a slight pull on the stick, as if trying to say it had to go toward The Forgotten One. Ink saw his injured brother lying on the ground. He made his way toward him, but his path led him directly between Last and the creature with terrible timing. Ink always has terrible timing... @@Rapid Wind After thinking a moment, "I think I'll try the cucumber sandwich, then," Starlight responded. It made more sense to accept the new friend's suggestion as a way to show his input was welcomed. "Soooo, I hear you have a talent for chaos magic?" She was trying to start a friendly conversation about something they had in common, and aside from once trying to bend Equestria to their will, would have to be magic. @@Blitz Boom @@Moonlit @@Hazard Time "Okay. Now instead of swimming with your hooves like normal, please try to use your wings. Remember the movements I taught you before and move slowly. Water is much harder to move than air, so if you push too hard you can hurt yourself." Derpy sounded as if she had repeated those words many times, but again she still sounded concerned for the safety of her student. Pushing water with weak wings could be very difficult, but it was the best way to make those wings stronger, aside from wing-ups which might be too much for Serenade right now. @@Rapid Wind @@Blitz Boom "We are all here today to discuss cleanup and repairs after the destruction of yesterday's battle. As some of you may have already seen, there has been some property damage and Ponyville needs all the help it can get," Celestia began, then paused. "And what of the returned? What will happen with them?" one of the volunteers asked. "That will be a topic for another meeting, but for now, their situation remains unchanged. Some of you will be assigned to help here in Ponyville, others will be assigned elsewhere." "Let us also be aware that there is some fear among the townsfolk. A terrible creature attacked their homes. Please be careful how you interact with them as some may be 'on-edge' due to the circumstances," Luna said softly. Twilight rolled out a long list in front of herself. "We'll need strong fliers or unicorns skilled at levitation magic on site to move supplies up to the roofs to repair them, two teams of strong ponies to transport supplies for both the repairs and for the camp. Anypony else can choose either to help directly with the repairs, or work on ground level cleaning up the debris."

Sorry for the delay, but I will either post tomorrow or Tuesday. I picked up an extra day at work, so I'm a bit exhausted, but I have to work tomorrow, too.
