Stardust*

That was fine for now. And in the beginning lets just have the group try and get alone to try and search the mansion. You guys can try and interigate each other and even Stardust as well. I will continue to play Mr. Law hoof if your characters need to speak with him. And I will also help out with the background aspects of the story. Hinting at where some evidence may be and what is in each room and so forth.

@@Hazard Time,@, @, @@BronyNumber42, There was a knock at the door of the mansion. Stardust immediately took her leave from the guests to answer the door for the lawyer. After pleasantries she escorted him to the sitting room and made introductions. "I would like to announce the arrival of Mr. Lawhoof, Mr. Body's attorney. These ponies are the ones that you stated I invite to the estate, Mr. Zoisite, Colonel Mustard, Mr. Rider, and Miss Crystal. Please, everypony take a seat and allow Mr. Lawhoof to present the Last Will and Testament of Mr. Body." Stardust made her way to the back of the room and sat in a chair against the wall. "Thank you Stardust for the introductions, I am pleased to see that you all made it tonight. I would like to present the Last Will and Testament of the late Mr. Body. Presented here on film. He specifically stated that this not be seen by anyone until all of you were present. He left me explicit instructions to make sure that you were all well fed and taken care of, which as Stardust told me on the way in was already taken car of. Just give me a moment to get this set up." Mr. Lawhoof took his briefcase and placed it upon a side table, propped open the tabs and began setting up the movie reel. With a nod to Stardust he fed the tape through the odds and ends while Stardust pulled down a screen in which the video would be seen. The final touches with speakers in place he flipped the switch and a black and white tape began to play counting down.... "3.....2.....1..... Thank you all for turning up on this day." Mr. Body alive and well was on the screen. "As you are well aware, if you are viewing this, that means I am no longer among the living. I am here to go over my will and give you all what you deserve. Each of you have been called here because there is unfinished business between us. Weather it be because there are debts to be paid or a score to settle. I do hope that by the end of the evening we will all be able to walk away happy. Now, let us get down to business. One of you in this room at this moment is guilty of one thing..... MURDER! MY MURDER! I have taken precautions, as such, this tape to insure my voice to be heard so as to not allow you go get away with it. There is information on each one of you hidden in my mansion. I know that whomever is the culprit will be wanting to get those documents back and taken care of. As per my instructions left with my lawyer, no pony is to leave my estate until the murderer is found and handed over to the police. The doors have been locked by Stardust and the keys are placed in a safe that she only knows the combination to. I know that which ever pony decided to kill me would have very cleverly covered his or her tracks. However, they did not get all of the information. Each one of you has a clear motive for my murder, the only question now, is who was the one who actually did it? The police will be notified at a specific time, you have until morning to figure this out, otherwise you ALL will be taken into custody." The end of the tape began flapping as the reel continued to spin. The room was dead silent as Mr. Lawhoof flipped the switch once again. The ponies in the room began to fidget just a bit. Stardust stayed in her seat, not moving a muscle.

@, Hey, fantastic job at finding people interested in the RP! I am going go ahead to lock this thread though seeing as you created OOC's for the other two RP that you are currently doing. Just a quick reminder though, instead of creating a brand new OOC thread you can just go into the ' Use Full Editor' mode for the first post and change the topic prefix to OOC.

@@Randimaxis,@, @@-Octavia-, Stardust was pulling up the rear of the group making sure to keep an eye and continuously count the number of ponies on the ground. Moving to and fro flying forward a ways then over and then falling back again. Making sure that nopony was to fall out of line or out of sight. We must be getting closer. She thought. Again she flew forward, 1...2...4....8....okay. She spread her wings to slow her down and resume her position. Each time she counted Aria her mind would race for a moment, of their recent conversations, right before she grew very silent. What was she going to tell me in that kitchen? Why was she so hesitant? she snapped out of it and back to her objective. The trees seemed to fly by as the group ran deeper into the forest. This was the quickest the group has ever traveled, and a large part is due to those dragons of Spike's they truly were amazing. With each beat of her wings they grew closer and closer to the home of the Rangers. From there, they would travel across the ocean. Back to Baltamare.

Unfortunately we are just about to the climax of our story and don't have any spots open. Depending on how well we finish off with this one I may host another RP that you would be more than welcome to join. Once I see that everyone has read their PM's I will move forward with the next long post.

@@BronyNumber42,@@Hazard Time, @, @, Hello group! I do want to move forward with having the lawyer finally arriving to the mansion. However without seeing any activity from Frannis or Falling Stars I would hate to move forward without any word from them. I have sent them both PMs in hopes to hear from them soon. Also, please feel free to PM me any time, I am still getting used to juggling work, family, and my online duties as a sectional as well as keeping up with all of my RPs that I am in. If I fall behind again, please just shoot me a message, it will help me out a lot. I do get notifications via email when someone posts in the OOC or RP but there are times when I just quickly look and then throw my phone across the room lol. Thank you all for your continued interest and participation in the RP I really do want to see this one through to the end!

As the courses were served the ponies began to relax just a bit as well as Stardust. The clock was sitting promptly at 6:45 pm. Stardust stood from her chair and addressed the other working ponies. "Please clear the dinner dishes and make the sitting room ready with desserts and coffee for the guests and the lawyer upon his arrival." And with that she made her way into the dining room to address the guests. "I do hope that the meal was to your liking. I am pleased to announce that the lawyer shall arrive momentarily, if we could all move back into the sitting room to wait for his arrival. The cooks have prepared little desserts and will be serving coffee with cream and sugar on the side for those who would care for some." She began to walk in the direction of the next room and with a slight pause she spoke again. "Please come with me." ___________________________________________________ Meanwhile the lawyer Mr. Lawhoof was on his way to the mansion. Packing his suite case and grabbing the film reel that had still been sealed. With a sigh he stepped into the carriage with his driver and gave a nod, they were on the way.

@@Captain Whirlwind, Once aboard Stardust found a nice spot next to the window, she lowered it just a bit, it always made her nervous if she couldn't feel the breeze. "So you are looking for a job? What sort of work?" She was fighting with her saddle bags making sure not to bend any of the charts. "And... I don't spend a whole lot of time in Ponyville, but I think I know most of the ponies around there, are you new to town?" She asked.

@@Captain Whirlwind, "Thanks. ... But, well... what are you doing for the rest of the day? I wouldn't mind some company on the train, it is a bit of a ride, we can talk and then I can take you out for lunch as a thank you for helping me out." She could hear the train begin getting closer to the station. She stood up and went to buy her ticket. "What do you say?" She asked Whirlwind.

@@Captain Whirlwind, "Yes! I chart stars for the University of Canterlot. And these need to get there TODAY! And I am running late!" She explained as the two made their way to the train station. As they got closer she felt a bit better since the train hadn't arrived yet. She breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that at least she hadn't missed it. She spotted a bench and made her way in that direction. She turned to the stallion, "Thank you Whirlwind, you are a life saver. I should be okay from here. I do apologize for interrupting your day." She gave him a warm smile. "Maybe I'll see you around sometime, it would be nice to get to know the stallion who came to my rescue." She giggled a bit.

@@Captain Whirlwind, Stardust had heard the stallions question but she was so preoccupied with trying to get the twine around the paper that she didn't answer him. Finally she had it in her hooves and she started to flutter her wings until she was back on the ground. "So much for a short cut..." She mumbled under her breath. She noticed the stallion again. "Oh, I'm sorry. Uhm... my name is Stardust... and thank you so much for your help. If I had lost this chart I don't know what I would have done." She looked over her shoulder to the train station. "Say... would you mind walking with me to the train station in case that happens again, you have quick reflexes." She gave him a smile. "Oh, and what's your name?"

@@Captain Whirlwind, "Oh my goodness! Please yes I need some help! That parchment is very important and delicate, can you help me to get it down without a scratch?!" She was so grateful that the stallion had offered to help. She darted up behind the parchment in hopes to catch it, luckily it 'caught' her by flying right into her muzzle. "Oaf" She grunted. She managed to get a few words out, "Here, take this end please while I get the twine ready again."

@@Captain Whirlwind, Stardust was in such a hurry to make it to the train station on time she decided to try and glide a bit. She spread her wings and lifted off the ground slightly. As she did a breeze picked up and carried her higher than she wanted. All of a sudden one of her charts flew out of her saddle bag and began floating in the breeze behind her, getting higher and higher. "Horsefeathers!!!" She shouted, in order to make sure that the rest of the charts didn't fly out either she quickly placed her bags down on the ground and began to chase the wind blown parchment.

Link to OOC Stardust was busy finalizing the charts she was about to send to the University department. Frantic because theses were supposed to be sent in the week before! They had to be to the University this afternoon!! "Why did I put this off??! GAH! I'm such a procrastinator! Now I have to fly these directly to the University in order for them to be on time so I can be paid!!" Stardust put the final touches on the last chart and rolled them all up. Tied twine around them and gently placed them in her saddle bags. She strapped it to her back and she was out the door. "Okay, as long as nothing else happens on my way there things should be okay!" She quickly shut and locked her door. She figured she wouldn't make it the entire way to Canterlot especially with having to fuss over making sure the charts don't fly out of her bags. She decided the best way was to take the train, it did in fact only take a couple hours and she had 4 hours to get there. She began her trot down into Ponyville to the train station. She saw ponies going every which way, it was a really busy morning. Stardust was not surprised with the festival coming up in the next few days.

@@Randimaxis,@, Stardust heard Lilith's words... but how could they be true... Without a word she nodded and spread her wings and jumped into the air. She flew to the cottage and burst through the door. "EVERY PONY GATHER WHAT YOU CAN AND MOVE NOW!!!" She shouted while running through the home. She could hear some ponies mumbling and she let out another shout. "DON'T ASK QUESTIONS IF YOU WANT TO LIVE!" She made her way to gather the rest of the ponies and push them outside. She then made her way back to Spike. "Spike, I know you are hurting right now but please, we need your help to get these ponies to safety. Lilith knows where to take them in order for them to be safe while we make our way, but we have to leave now. Please, if any sense of generosity from Rarity has seeped into your bones you have got to help these ponies, I don't care about anypony else right now, not you not me, not Lilith, nopony, only these innocent ponies that need our help right now. Please, use your crystal dragons to carry the older ones and the younger ones. The rest should be able to keep up."

No worries. And as for the Colonel's question for why you are all there and how you know Mr. Body, I will send you all a PM with just a brief explanation of how Mr. Body was connected to you all okay. For now you can just kind of avoid the question by trying to change the topic. Gives for more of a "mystery" as to why everypony is there.

Stardust watched as the group of ponies began to eat and chat amongst themselves. It was nice to see complete strangers begin to some what begin to feel comfortable to be in the same room together. She made sure that every glass was filled and then she made her way to the kitchen to eat with the other help. Everypony was going to need to be in tip top shape and doing anything with an empty stomach for the rest of the evening was out of the question. Before she sat down though, she went to the little call box on the wall next to the kitchen and pressed the open call button. This button made it so every room in the house could hear her words. "Ponies, please feel free to use the call box if you need anything. I will be in shortly with the desert chief to serve the final course. Enjoy." She released the button and the rooms were silent once more. She looked at the lock which read 5:49. The lawyer said he would arrive promptly at 7pm. She looked to the other workers, "We must have the rooms set by 7 okay everypony." The worker ponies nodded and began to eat their meals.
