For the suggestion thing? Oh I know, I'm not blaming them. But when I have a good system of discussion here (16 replies), why use the feedback section?

Several reasons, off the top of my head.

1. If the status updates that can be seen by prospective members are streams of suggestions/complaints, it could drive them off.

2. Undermines the idea of support tickets and encourages new members to suggest/complain through status updates.

Not trying to come at you, just throwing it out there.

Oh, I'm not endorsing the use of status updates as support tickets. This is like adblock for me, the less people who know about it, the more hidden it is, and the less likelihood that the staff will crack down on it.
