Some people will tell you its money, some will say gravity and my cousin Phil says its a hamster in the centre of the Earth, we don't talk about him anymore. But the true answer is laughter. And why the hell wouldn't it be? After all laughter is the best medicine, you know unless you lost a limb or something. That is why I am proud to present the Ponyville Comedy Festive. An RP that is not only an RP but a chance to try your hand at stand up comedy, or in this case type on your computer in your mom's basement comedy. This will be set into two parts the comedy festival and the SOL adventures that happen inbetween each comedy festival. Like wise there are two ways to sign up. You can sign up as a long term player or a One night stand up. Long term players will be the people who take part in the SOL part of the RP. They will also go on stage periodically. The One Night Stand ups will post once and then can go do what ever the hell they feel like, there is no commitment whatsoever from these guys. Now on to how the stand up will work. Once everyso often (at the moment I'm thinking once a week IRL) each person on the list of Comics will post one long post which in essence will be their comedy routine. I'm thinking twenty people per comedy festival. Then we go through the SOL RP until the next Festival. Rules: 1. Basic forum rules apply. 2. The back street brawler who can take on an opponent of any size with his quick reflexes and acrobatic skills. He's not your friend, he's not your enemy, he just wants to break all the rules. Please give it up for the Masked Maniac, the Bedlam Brawler, the King of Calamity, the one the only Hooligan! *Pyrotechnics go off and Hooligan begins his walk down to the stage. He's standing at average height with an average build. Wearing Purple tracksuit pants and sandles. On his hand he's wearing purple fingerless gloves. And on his head he wears his signature Purple eyeless mask, the one that shows nothing but a decal of a large toothy grin. The mask also comes complete with wild pink hair. As he passes the audience he flips them the bird. He back flips onto the stage as more pyrotechnics go off.*

"Come on where's your sense of adventure?" Mist asked Sparkle with a smile, "sure saving Hyrule was tough but it was pretty fun wasn't it." Mist chuckled as he remembered the amazing adventure he had had with Sparkle back in Hyrule. And now he'd get to have a whole new amazing adventure.

Mist looked at the salesman with determination in his eyes. " Don't worry me and Sparkle will find those ponies, get your mask back and stop the moon from crashing down, " said Mist confidently. He turned to Sparkle, "come on let's get going, we have a world to save."

I really love the Canadian TV drama series Degrassi:The next generation, which for those who don't know is a show about kids attending a highschool called Degrassi So I thought why the hell not make an rp about it. This will be a SOL/Drama/Romance RP This will also be anthro because why not. Sign up below if you want to join and just FYI you do not need to have seen the show to be in this rp but if you have seen it high five to you.

@@Randimaxis "Of course they do," Mist answered, believing what he was saying and not just saying it because it is what Luna wanted to hear, "everypony deserves at least one day where they can just do as they please, not having to worry about pleasing anyone else but themselves." Mist looked into Luna's beautiful luminescent eyes and smiled. She had probably seen through his ruse and knew that the friend he was talking about was him. But he was glad that she had not shot down his advances but instead gone along with it. "Okay so, hypothetically, how would you respond if, for example, this friend of mine was to invite you to join him for dinner and a movie?"

@@Randimaxis At this moment in time Mist felt the happiest he had in his entire life. His heart was simply a flutter as he danced with Luna in the night sky. He blushed as he could feel the softness and warmth of Luna's coat. Mist wanted so bad to tell Luna how he felt. He knew he would more likely then not have his affection dismissed. But right here and now he felt so comfortable around her that he couldn't just say nothing. "Princess if I might ask something," Mist said looking up at Luna, "hypothetically if I had a friend who wished to court you how would they go about it?" Mist's blush deepened.

"Holy crap!" Mist said as he realised that the imp was using that mask to bring the moon crashing down. He turned to Sparkle, "we have to get that mask back. If we don't then that imp is gonna destroy everything using that giant creepy ass moon," Mist said panicing slightly

Mist smiled happily when he saw that Sparkle had been turned back to a pony. He ran up and hugged her tight. "Oh Sparkle, its so good to see you back to your old beautiful self." He looked at her and then at the mask, "so this mask really can take you back in time."

Mist looked around and was more confused then ever. He looked up to see the moon back up where it had been when they had first come here. He turned to Sparkle, "what in Hyrule did you just do?" he asked, "why didn't the moon kill us all? I'm not complaining but what?

Mist nodded to the salesman and lept for the mask but the imp dodged. Mist tried again and again and again, each time failing. He looked up at the moons which would kill them soon. There was only time for Mist to do one thing before he died. "Sparkle, since we're probably not gonna make it I wanted to just say. I love you. I always have"

Mist found Sparkle trying to climb to clock tower but she wasn't getting far. Mist picked her up and flew her up to the top of the tower where the IMO seemed to be waiting for them. Mist put Sparkle down and stared at the imp. It was time to get those masks back. Now or never

Mist almost fell over as the ground shook. He didn't like this, every moment he and Sparkle, as well as the rest of the people here, were getting closer and closer to death. Mist tried to help Sparkle find another way up the tower but he couldnt find a way to get to the imp. "Guess we have to wait,"

"Don't worry," said Mist assuredly to the mask sales pony, "we don't have your mask yet but we're close. We'll have it by the time you leave tomorrow." Mist knew Sparkle was probably worried about all the citizens here but Mist also knew that the two of them couldn't stop an entire moon.

Despite Mist entire body telling him not to, he decided to look up. When he saw the moon he practically crapped himself. If that moon was scary before it was straight up nightmare inducing now. He needed to get out of this town as soon as Sparkle was back to normal.

Mist was worried, the moon was getting closer and closer. If they didn't hurry and get those masks back they be crushed along with the rest of where ever they were. Mist stood up, "okay the clock tower won't open up till midnight." he stated, "so what do we do till then?"

"Come on Sparkle, we should get some sleep," Mist said with a yawn. He led her to the grass area near the fairy's fountain and found a nice soft bit of grass. He lay down, "this spot seems good," he said looking at Ember, "I think that we should slerl here tonight"

While he couldn't understand what they were saying it looked to Mist like they were discussing a transaction and when Sparkle showed him the deed he knew he was right. "Now we just got to wait till midnight tommorow and we can kick that imps sorry ass."

Mist followed Sparkle down into the sewers and they went back to the town square. As they looked around for what to do next. Mist was surprised by a deku flying down from the sky. He landed in a strange plant thing, like the one they had used early, and told them to stay off his property.

Mist soon found the tear however and held it up triumphantly. He examined it and it looked pretty valuable, but he didn't see how it would help them get Sparkle back to normal. "You think the imp would trade the masks for this?" he asked holding it up to Sparkle

Cool. And although I'm waiting till tomorrow to post full details I will say I'll be playing a male and he will probably be a samurai following a Japanese God
