Seeing as my Forumversary is less than a week away, I guess it is time to start prepping for it again. This year, I'm finally doing my About me page on my profile, and I'm planning on having a Q&A section (If I get enough questions, that is).
So, if anyone has a question about me, leave it below.
I will NOT answer any questions about Religion, Politics or anything extremely personal, so don't bother asking any questions that pertain to those topics. -
So my 5th Forumversary is coming up fast, and I already know that I'll be making my about me page, well, about me. But what should I really add into it?
I was possibly considering a Q&A section, where you guys can ask some questions about me and I'll answer them as thoroughly or as vaguely as I feel. How does that sound?
Also, should I bring back the throwback signature and avatar again this year, maybe make that a yearly tradition?

I'm back from my vacation... For all of 3 minutes. I'm not going to be able to be on much from Monday - Probably Friday...

I'm going to be going on vacation for a week, starting tomorrow, so I won't be on again until August 1st.

I have returned from my hiatus.

So I've noticed users are leaving in drove amounts lately due to the words and actions of other users. I'm gonna throw my opinions out there and if you don't like it, you can stick it.
When I joined this community 5 years ago, there were plenty of users online, I was there for the most online mark of 4,303 users at once. Sure, people come and go and that's to be expected but recent events have been unacceptable.
We joined this community as a way to share our appreciation for the show and for the brand.
We joined to make friends with common interests.
Y'know what we didn't join to do? Bully people for their beliefs or for their actions on the site.This site should be a safe, fun place to talk, away from the discrimination and the hate we normally receive as being a part of this fandom. When you log on to this site, you shouldn't be ridiculed for your beliefs. When all is said and done, none of this really matters in the long run, so what the hell does it matter to you what another person thinks? Everyone comes from a different background, everyone has different rationales and ways to approach certain things. It's just the way we as humans function.
I despise the cancel culture that society has developed. Grow the f*ck up. People can think what they want. Sure, there are bad people, bad ideas, bad beliefs, but criticizing them, tossing those people out and stomping them into the dirt isn't going to make them change. It'll make these beliefs more radical.
We are all civilized people here, let's talk like civilized people, this isn't Elementary school, throwing insults and slander isn't helping anyone and is hurting everyone.
Basically all I'm saying is that we should be tolerant of others and if you can't find it in yourself to be able to do that, you have every right to just ignore those whom you take offense from. You aren't required to talk to these people. Hell, there are plenty of users on this site who I've never said a word to and that's okay. You can't make friends with everyone, it's something I've had to learn the hard way many times. Just go about your day as normal and everything will be fine.
I'm not really sure who I'm addressing here, no names have been mentioned, but you know who you are. To those people, I'm going to leave you with this: I'm disappointed in you.
