    Random childhood memory that just came to mind: Don't remember if it was in preschool, or in 1st or 2nd year, but in school play about birth of Jesus, I was a background sheep, but the school had only one piece of sheep ears, so I got bunny ears that were rolled in into rolls. :P 

    I also have a vague memory of a play where someone had to be a door because the school had only one prop door and we needed two.
