I sometimes worry what happens to me as an artist if/when these forums cease to be or I lose access for some reason. The forums and a single discord server are the only places where I post my art and writing, and I have nobody in my offline life to share them with.

Now, it's not about being seen, after all, I get on average one person even acknowledging my stuff, I think in the last years the highest has been like 5 different individuals  It's not about that, even if I admit that sometimes I wish there was somebody actually interested enough to ask me about my OCs  Rather, it's the act of posting, I like the feeling of sharing my stuff, even if nobody actually sees it, and I feel that without it I wouldn't be as motivated to finish stuff.

The problem comes in here, internet sucks, and I'm not talking about trolls or bullies or whatever, I'm way too used to those to care, but rather, the internet art-community just sucks. I personally don't worry about the over-reaction to AI, which has made people senselessly accuse artists of using AI, because my art isn't good enough for such, but the art community in general is so...unbearably arrogant/condescending, policing other people's art, and it's especially bad nowadays with politics coating everything. There doesn't seem to exist a space where people just do things because they enjoy doing it. 

I've considered spreading my wings and posting in some other place, but I just don't know if I have the energy to deal with the toxicity of the general internet
