It's interesting how different kinds of difficulty in games has a different type of feeling. I've been playing the Wolfenstein series (the modern ones) and any time i'm "stuck" in a level, I start quickly getting frustrated and annoyed at the game, meanwhile, in Ultrakill, I was stuck in one boss for half an hour and it took couple of restarts
Spoilerbut every time I felt just more motivated to try again, in fact, I even laughed few times because it was more funny than annoying.
I can't really put my finger on it why exactly that is, but it's very notable.

I've played like one of those once
I own the old star wars games in steam, but never got to playing them.
The thing with my Ultrakill experience, is that I play on Standard difficulty, aka the medium difficulty of the game, there's 3 difficulties above it "Violent" "Brutal" and "Ultrakill must die" (note: the last one isn't in the game yet, as the game isn't complete yet) And I'm still getting my butt beatenQuoteOrder 66 restarts
Makes sense, since you play a robot made by humans killing what humans become in hell (and demons, other robots and the archangel Gabriel)
so you could say I order 66ed him
(him being Gabriel, who is also the boss that keeps destroying me, the first of his boss battles taking me 36 restarts and the second being the one with 66) I can only dread how many tries his third battle will take when it eventually comes out
