    Had a wonderful time today in Mecosta, MI at Russell Kirk's home, library, and grave. An extraordinary academic, and one of the founders of modern conservatism; his widow was very hospitable to myself and the other Hillsdale students with me. Well spent Saturday!

    Economic History of the U.S. exam went fantastic this morning!!! Better yet, it was actually kind of fun! There's something beautiful about consolidating all of this history you've covered into one body in just a little over an hour. :)
