Well, Right to Work legislation is FINALLY getting passed in my home state of Michigan; gotta say, I never thought I'd live to see this day!!! Today is a good day to be a Michigander indeed!!!

Got our first dusting of snow here at Hillsdale right now; it's actually beginning to feel a lot like Christmas right now. Simply beautiful outside.

Two years ago and the year before that we had lots of snow in December and throughout January. It would have been average or mild to any state that was prepared for it, but things seemed more harsh to us because we have almost no provisions for winter weather.
Snow is beautiful. Hopefully we have another unusually harsh winter this time. I even enjoy having to shovel it from the driveway.

After a wonderful Sunday, complete with a great church service and some very productive work being accomplished, it's time to kick back and relax in the best way possible... that's right, shooting virtual characters and laughing with glee about it in Halo 4!!!

Well, after taking a nice nap (in which, appropriately enough, I had a minor nightmare; I say minor, because it didn't really freak me out that much, just a little bit) it's time to rewatch today's episode before some more Halo 4. YAY!!!

The more I learn, the more I learn that there is so much more to learn. Yeah it's daunting, overwhelming, and even scary at times, but it's also exciting to think that I have a whole life ahead of me to grow in my knowledge, and I thank God for the time I have on Earth to do so.

Well, after a fair deal of procrastination, and, unfortunately, an all-nighter, my English term paper is finally done!!! Now I get to go to Philosophy at 9:00... yay, wait... not really. Just one more paper to go this semester!

Last performance of Handel's "Messiah" is over! Definitely my own personal best performance, and might've been Hillsdale college choir's overall best performance as well! The glory be to God!!!

Two "Messiah" performances down, one to go!!! Man, it was hot on the risers tonight; nearly cooked to death in my choir robes!!! Plus I get to write a paper after the performance tomorrow; joy. But, it's worth it; it's such a beautiful work to perform!!!

True dat, though the worst part honestly is standing/sitting in between the big-choir pieces. Between the smaller chamber choir pieces and the solos, we probably sing about 1/3 (maybe more) of the whole piece, and when we're not singing, we're just standing or sitting perfectly still, and it gets very cramped and hot up in the risers.

WOOH!!! The first of three performances of Handel's "Messiah" is done, and boy was it fun!!! Our soloists were phenomenal, and it was an absolutely beautiful performance that was worth all the hard work and effort we've put in the last few months. Two more to go, and I'm sure they'll even be better than this one!!! The glory be to God!!!

Well, it's just about time for the first of three performances of Handel's "The Messiah" by my college choir for our Christmas concerts this weekend; been practicing hard all semester, and it should Lord willing be glorious!!! Wish us luck everypony!!!

So, at the suggestion of a couple of friends on the forums here, I'm actually considering writing a fan fiction about the Derp Knight. It'd probably be a half-and-half mix of snarky, tongue-in-cheek humor and action. Any thoughts?

@Artemis: Oh my, I hadn't even considered Batmare as a name!!! OK, question for ya'll, what do you think sounds better FOR THE STORY, Batbrony or Batmare (the latter probably does make more sense for the story itself, but I am split, since, to an extent, I actually want to write it in character, i.e. certain parts will be from 1st person, just some). Maybe I'll call the first one "Batbrony Begins" but everypony will refer to her as Batmare. That might make s...

*sigh* Sad that my sister seems more interested in spending all of her time with her new boyfriend and none with me. I mean, he's one of my best friends, and I'm happy for them and everything, but this is the first time I've seen her since we both went off to college, and we're leaving on Sunday.
If anything, it should be fun to write.
