    I starting to doubt wanting to watch the trailer for MLP:FIM movie when one comes out (not teaser). But kinda want to because it's such an incredible benchmarkand if I was at a con or something it was released I probably would watch it? Or would I? At odds with myself.

    My parents are having a weird discussion about racial slurs and defending people of your heritage/nationality. It's really weird and I want to smack them both and educate them but they are hard-headed and it will take until the break of dawn for them to finally understand espcially for my dad's small misguided mind.

    Civ V game crashed after putting in some mods. Dang this will be difficult. Also tried scenarios for the first time and was in hard, but yea too difficult for me. Trying again in normal.

      Just another thing that doesn't belong in modern society. But no, people feel the need to indoctrinate their own children to their way of thinking, and then they grow up, and become adults still thinking that.

    Saw a guy on a different forum say "I'm probably the only brony that listens to metal." Told him he's not. Then said "I mean this kind of metal" and links Asking Alexandria. Still confused on if he meant scene or in terms of heaviness because AA is not that heavy. Also not a fan.

      I think 'fo sho' kinda sums it up.

      It seemed to me like it puts on a show of being metal, while not actually BEING metal.

      Then again, I don't know how to define metal more accurately than yelling and specific guitar riffs.

      I feel like if somebody wanted to define modern metal System of a Down are the main bands to name. They don't put on a show, they play music from the heart. Their music is always about very serious things and is of a more alternative/folk style yet still metal.

      If there was a band or bands I would describe as putting on a show of metal I would name scene bands like Pierce the Veil or other bands like Attila where it's just like what?

      But just now it's more like find this and write about it and prove this. And that's it. So yea. Also did a few in class-essays that are just like whatever. so yea.

    Words aren't bad. The context in which they are used is bad, like the way many have said before me in this post. Even when it comes to racial slurs. When referring to the words there should be nothing wrong with that. Like if I was saying, "the other day on bus I heard a man call another dude wetback/[racism 1]/faggot/etc." rather than saying n-word or f-a-g-g-o-t. Like just say the word. Besides those words I always see cursing the way Patrick in Spongebob Squarepants described them: sentence enhancers. Cursing is the best. Seriously whoever decide that it is inappropriate to curse even though it is ok to say things like "what in the hay" even though it is basically the same thing WAS OUT OF THEIR MIND Like instead of saying "I'm so excited!" I could say "I'M FUCKING EXCITED" Sounds much better and really gets the feeling I want out. Curse words just have such a crisp sound. They're like the crunchy food of words. SHIT! Just feels and sounds good.

    I would say the TV shows conquers all. If the TV show contradicts something the comics, books, etc. said then oh well TV show is lord. Second would be Equestria Girls. 3rd It's probably between comics and books here. 4th everything else. I take everything as canon if it came from official source.
