  1. Stephan.

If you get Pikmin 3 for the Wii U, I will personally tie you down to a bed, rape you, castrate you, force you to eat your balls, and then steal your console with game.

But first thing's first. You have to tell me if Pikmin 3 is insanely scary, just like how Pikmin 2 was. *shudders*

  2. the best headphones in the world won't do shit if you have a crap soundcard or if you don't have an amplifier to increase the overall signal, haha. 20 dollar headphones is just good enough for me, and i've heard nothing but great things of those headphones by my favourite musicians. the problem is that they don't ship to Sweden. well, they do, but at 35 dollars or so. ;_;

Holy god the price is insane, but if you like those headphones then I would say go for it~

I do have a good sound card in my computer, which has a tuner/equalizer built into it. And its able to power the 4 speakers n a subwoofer in my laptop with surprising sound quality.

If you didn't know what it has, its an HP laptop with the beats audio sound card.

And this, beats didn't fail on for once.

  3. i have no idea if they are any good or not, especially considering how fast you wanted to get rid of them. i would much more appreciate a pair of Monoprice headphones, specifically this model: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?p_id=8323&seq=1&format=2

I'm selling mine because of 2 reasons: bass and portability.

Don't get me wrong, because they sound a lot better then my beats do. But I could care less for the treble and vocals.

Ive looked at reviews of these and 10/10 times ive seen so far on youtube they always love the outcome.

For me, seeing a $20 pair of headphones is for people who don't know too well about music and just want to listen to it for fun. But to get in the feeling, you need great sounding headphones and the only real way to do that is to spend $100 at the least.

  4. haven't heard about the Pros. at any rate, i'm not in dire, urgent need of good headphones right now. i'll probably get some good headphones for that when the time is right, so to speak.

BBBBUUUU I NEED TO SELL MY SOL REPUBLIC'S FAST D:

But seriously, if you ever are in need of one to listen to music with then im selling mine for about $90-100.

  5. from what i've heard Beats is awful, not only price-wise, but quality-wise, as well. there's a musician i knew that owned a copy of Beats, albeit counterfeited ones, which he didn't give much high praise on its sound quality and questioned why anyone would use those to produce music with. i've heard a similar thing from another musician i really enjoy, too. my bets would be on the Monoprice, but unless i am in the US, they're expensive as shit...

I'm only talking about the Pros and none of the other headphones from the Beats line. I know for sure that the Studio's would downright fail for making music and the Mixr's are only made for DJing.

But aside from the price to quality ratio, the only real way to try them to see if they're bad or not is to see for yourself. I did that with the SOL Republic Tracks HD, and by 2 weeks im in the process of selling them.

  6. i'd want a middle-ground between a good listening experience and headphones good for production. not sure if such a thing actually exists, however, and if i need to get 2 different pairs of headphones for that.

Ive actually looked and it said that some of the lower end on ear Sennheiser's are good for producing music. I personally recommended the HD600 to a guy on the mlp chat but I have yet to hear back from him.

There's also the Audio Technica Ath-M50's that are quite good in both aspects from what I hear. Though I don't like these since ive heard the highs are too powerful and the bass is lacking, most people love this for its price.

I don't really know but I think the Beats by Dre Pro's actually fit in both categories too. That's just from my knowledge though, so I wouldn't really know for sure.

  7. yeah, though if you're really hellbent on getting a good sound system for THAT price, might as well by a giganormous surround soundset or whatever instead, than spending it all on a tiny pair of headphones. i'm looking for something far "saner" price-wise.

A saner price would be the Sennheiser HD600 or HD650. In a way though the 600 is a little better priced at $400 bucks but it has a flatter EQ then the 650.

Though on that topic, if you want audiophile headphones for $300 then go for the V-Moda M-100.

  8. Street by 50 owns the Beats headphones... the material on the Beats headphones is crap, and doesn't really have any good durabillity. However, the Street by 50 headphones, are made of really good, flexible material, and have better durabillity than Beat headphones. Also, the sound is way better than Beats headphones.

I would agree they probably do sound better in every way. Though I do have some beats that surprisingly haven't broken on me after heavy usage, but I know lots of people are concerned with the quality of the headphones.

Ive seen the Beats executive though, and they're made from all metal compared to the Studios. Plus, they've finally toned down the bass a little and improved the preamp for a better sound quality.

Actually, brb. I gotta go change the batteries in mine since ive been playing music at 100% volume for a straight week or 2.
