You ever thought about looking at an episode from another angle? Who knows, you may get a different outlook on it. Not saying your thoughts on the episode are wrong, but I'll be honest some of your criticism confused me.

I think Dark Qiviut put it best in this comment, and it's a very good point if you ask me.

I've tried. My problem remains that I don't know why Moondancer even expected Twilight to attend. Those flashbacks didn't convince me that Twilight had acted in any way to indicate she cared about Moondancer, so I don't really feel like Moondancer's bitterness is Twilight's fault. Dark Qiviut says "none of them plan to show up," but that's not exactly the scenario here: we see three other ponies show up, and Moondancer is the first to leave. Which would be fine if I had any idea why she expected Twilight to come in the first place. I agree more with the linked blog post itself, but I also recall finding it one of season 5's less dreary episodes, so it has that going for it.

Fair enough I suppose.
