Last night I had a dream where I was in a desert of white sand at twilight, and a faceless girl materialized out of the sand. I asked who she was and she told me "I can be whoever you want me to be", so I thought about it and replied "I want you to be someone whom I can love". She then froze, dried up, and disintegrated into the wind, and I stood there staring at the lavender sky and rising, crescent moon alone...
