    A! Ronnie Van Zant regularly told people he would not live to be 30 years old and that he would go out with his boots on. If asked why he said things like that he would simply say it was his limit. Ronnie Van Zant died in a plane crash in October of 1977, almost 3 months to the day before his 30th birthday.
