    Hey guys, I have a question for you: how do you feel about Season 9 being the last season of Friendship Is magic? :sunny: would you like the series to continue or are you excited about G5? :ticking:

    I've been looking at ALL the comments on youtube, equestria daily and on the MLP Forums, and every-one's 50 - 50 at the moment. Honestly, I cant wait for G5. :mlp_yeehaa: From what I've heard, it's gonna be JUST as good as Friendship Is Magic (it wont be anything like G3) :sealed: and the mane 6 are coming back :catface: 

    For those of you who DONT want the show to end, I understand. If I were you, I'd give G5 a chance. :please:

    I certainly wont be going anywhere. Also, the FINAL Season of Friendship Is Magic will be starting next week. I can't wait to see what happens :ph3ar:

      @Lord Valtasar I saw a rumor a while back (IDK if it's true, I don't keep up with most of the news) that there was gonna be some wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff where the Equestria we know is going to go through a 'universe is ending' scenario (sort of) and everyone we know is going to get transported to/make a new universe, similar to what we know but with some differences in the process of trying to save the current universe. Might hold some merit, given what we've seen in the S9 trailer, Tirek could pull some nasty stuff and the Mane 6 ends up deciding the only way to survive is to reboot everything.

      My only worry is I'm going to HATE the art style. The style is one of the things that made FiM popular among adults and boys in the first place. And I get it was never really intended for them/us, but clearly the creators value that portion of the fanbase, now that it's there (why else make episode 100 be what it was, with fan characters/fan favorite BG characters so prominent when the 'target audience' would have no idea what the reference was-never mind the literal split second meme shot?) I think it'd be a bad move to make it more like what it used to be in previous generations and alienate the new portions of the fanbase.

      I'll give it a chance, but I'm concerned :/

    Okay, I'm gonna head to the store in a couple of hours and I'm gonna see if there's any POP Vinyl Stormtrooper / Black Series Stormtrooper figurines lying around. So far, I haven't had ANY luck :mlp_please:

    As you can already tell, I’ve been re-watching the entire series and I’m up to episode 5. I can honestly say The Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones is late 90’s – early 2000’s cheese, but I love it for what it is. :catface:

    I honestly found Phantom Menace to be more entertaining than the 2nd episode. Revenge Of The Sith is STILL my favourite episode. :ticking:

    It’s been a VERY long time since I’ve watched the original trilogy and I remember watching these episodes on our old TV…and I remember saying that I did not like these episodes ‘cuz the quality wasn’t as good as the prequels and the light-saber duels weren’t as flashy…and my favourite character (obi wan Kenobi) dies in episode 4. :sunny: What I didn’t know was these episodes were made in the late 70’s / 80’s... :sunbutt:

    I recently watched A New Hope and I can honestly say it’s MUCH better than Episodes 1 and 2 :laugh: …and I’m at the mid-way point of The Empire Strikes Back... and…I’m not really enjoying it at the moment. :mlp_lie: 

    Maybe my opinion will change after I’ve seen the 2nd half of the film :catface:

     

    This is gonna be a VERY un-popular opinion and despite the amount of criticism it gets, I love the prequel trilogy. :laugh: That was a part of my child-hood when I was growing up and that’s what got me into star wars as a whole. :ticking:

    I’ve only seen The Force Awakens once at my uncles place and…my cousin spoiled the whole movie. :unamused: Nevertheless, it was…kinda underwhelming in comparison to the ones I’ve seen. :sunny: I haven’t seen The Last Jedi, but from what I’ve gathered, it's said to be the worst star wars movie in the entire franchise and to be fair…I knew Disney would screw it up. Star Wars has some serious conflicts…and Disney? well…they focus more on kids shows…so yeah. :please:

     

    No doubt, the prequel trilogy has some of the best light-saber duels in the franchise ^^ :sneer:

    Photographed thru a Celestron C8, unguided. I spent some time adjusting the counterweights to find that sweet spot. Balance is very important.

They're supposed to be common!!! :o I've already went to a number of retailers and I haven't found A SINGLE ONE in stock. You'd think they'd have a couple of First Order Storm-Trooper figurines lying around, but no...

      @Rikifive Finding it disgusting in the sense you dont find it attractive is one thing. But if that were the case, the language being used would be different. The way they're using that word, and others, means they think theres something wrong with the person, that they need to be fixed, that they're subhuman. That's the problem.

      And just like with bronies, sure, some people wont "get it". But that doesnt mean theres anything wrong with it...just like theres nothing wrong with crossdressing. And yet they demand (whether were talking about bronies or crossdressing) that WE change, because THEYRE uncomfortable, because of their bullshit ignorance, and adherence to idiotic gender stereotypes.

      And yet that's what a lot of these comments being made in that thread imply, that theres something wrong and subhuman about crossdressers....hence "what happened to acceptance and tolerance".

      @Rikifive I mean I get not really *understanding* it/being able to fully relate to it, especially if you've never actually met or talked to one, but some of these comments...calling it disgusting and they'd automatically assume the person's a pedo, just....

      And then the fact that some of these people probably turn around and say they fully support LGBT, and it's like '....do you even KNOW how hypocritical you're being right now?'

      I mean ffs, someone who's thinking about transitioning has to start somewhere, and that 'somewhere' technically counts as 'crossdressing' for a lot of people.

    Well, my wide angle lens ended up being too heavy for my dslr mount. I will have to find a more sturdy one.
