I'm sure she'd understand, going off your profile you are female, so that already gives you a lot of breathing space being much closer to the obvious demographic, it can just be a fun little show you like to watch from time to time, each episode is only about 20 minutes which.. even in the most busy of schedules can still be mustered up, one episode here and there wouldn't impact your life in any negative way, I'm confident it is just fine~ 

But there is a risk with eventually comming out. 

I can understand if it is something like coming out as transgender or homosexual, how the parent will react can be nerve racking I'm sure, For a girl to like a TV show though, I'd have to say that is as risky as this tank:

Not to belittle or take away any merit, I fully understand the notion of being cautious with the subjects because peoples reactions are unpredictable.
