      To add on to the Back to The Future reply, their rejected concepts(due to brand issues) are more interesting than the movie in a way, such as the Rollex smart watch that isn't terribly far off.

       

      Ford's Philco division got it pretty spot on with their 1950s future movie. "Junior is learning on a table top computer while father is remotely working on another, chatting with his boss in full color in real time"
