Uhm, stop lying. I've literally been the only person I've seen actually express that view ANYWHERE, and I've in fact seen it called the WORST a few times.

You know what needs to happen but is guaranteed never to happen ever?

Pokemon game ports on Steam. Oh well, there's always emulators.

I get it, Google has to advertise their $#!+ console, but can they please just stop? It's clearly been and is going to go down as a failure, because Alphabet has NO place trying to further monopolize the tech industry. Though I guess they have stiff competition in the sucking department (looking at Microsoft's offerings the past TWO console generations).

Seriously, though, Gen 4 is underrated AF.

So many setbacks on this tabletop game of mine... Seriously, when can I really get going? I mean I certainly hope soon enough, but it seems like every time I hope I hit a roadblock soon after. Though it seems like at this point even with the setback I've experienced with not having a laptop anymore (RIP), I feel rather inclined to think 2020 is indeed the year.

To comment on the current state of the gaming industry:

Developers work their hearts out, Publishers cash their soul out, and entitled gamers whine their credibility out. While the rest of us just look at the publishers and wonder "why are they so greedy" and the whiny absurdly loud and small minority of gamers and wonder "why do they blame developers for things that are clearly on the publisher?"

Also, on an unrelated note, am I the only one who thinks Gen 2 Pokemon is severely overrated, with serious design flaws and a sequel done with utmost laziness? Also, people are way too hard on Gen 4.

Watched the World Record for Meta Knightmare Ultra. Saw a few things that may improve me route to maybe being as fast as sub-27 or so. Though that's still 3 minutes slower than that run was (It's a 23:56.01). Nonetheless, a lot of interesting exploits and tricks to unpack. didn't know that Knight's Call speed-boosting was a thing, or the fastest boss-killing combo in the game that kills most bosses in the run in one phase. EVEN THE F***ING DRAGON IN THE SECOND COMPUTER VIRUS FIGHT IF TIMED RIGHT.

In all seriousness, how haven't I found this masterpiece of an ad parody until now? It's been around for 12 years...

Also, the comments section is absolutely hilarious.

It's interesting and simultaneously irritating to think about just how much more toxic the Internet, online games, etc. have become since, as late as 2017. Before 2017, I had relatively few incidents with toxic people that absolutely p!$$ed me off. But since... F***... It's almost like the internet is devolving into your average YouTube comments section.  It's gotten so bad that I've had to stop playing games simply because people are just so unbearably toxic that they pretty much cause me to have a f***ing mental breakdown , and at times that means abusing my computer (one I had last night was pretty serious... It was apparently so violent that my BF yelled at me "WHAT THE F*** IS YOUR PROBLEM?")... 

I even notice it on here, and honestly, outside of the Debate Cesspool, I'd never ONCE had a conflict with ANYONE before 2016, and had one maybe two in 2016. But since 2017, I've been attacked countless times by even people on here (and this is a relatively NOT toxic community!), because apparently civility on the internet is dying a quick and brutal death. Even by people who I previously respected, now some of them are on my $#!+ list. Oh that list is still growing, by the way...

F*** I think if I told myself 4 years ago that I'd have to deal with this $#!+ almost constantly, past me would likely think I'm being paranoid. But I'm not. This is a serious issue with the Internet as a whole. Personal attacks before I stopped playing Paladins last night were pretty much on a WEEKLY basis at the BEST. I don't know how much not playing Paladins will reduce the frequency of the attacks against me for simply existing and deciding to play a game, post a comment, or reply to a thread, but hopefully it's something because at this rate I may totally lose my f***ing sanity before too long. I say: STOP THE TOX.

(NBC and CBS pretty much stand for the same thing then?  ABC and CBS aren't too far off either, though ABC sounds a bit further right unabbreviated that way)

When you think somebody is your friend on an online forum, only for them to personally attack you.  Just happened to me on another forum. What an f***ing scumbag... I even gave him upvotes for no reason, other than I was asked to. And this is the thanks I get for that? I'm sure there's people out there who would dox people for this.

But I'm nice enough instead to just rescind the upvotes I gave him and give him a few downvotes in return. Over a personal attack, I'd say that's getting off rather easy.

Round of applause to Andrew Yang on this one. He's entirely right on this issue. Sex workers are themselves victims, whether of a society that forces them into said work or of evil people that force them into said work. Victims should not be treated like criminals. And honestly I see no other rational stance on this issue.

I hate to break it to you, but fat jolly old men created for the sake of marketing a holiday, are NOT real and there really is no way to really prove it.

And honestly, ABC trying to make a hoax of that variety sound heartfelt does a heck of a lot more to disgust me than cheer me up. Because we should promote the corporate agenda instead of report on real news. Shameful.
