      To be fair, other than when Luna was first freed from her Nightmare state, they are very visually distinctive; was interesting to see them re-use that look with Queen Sparkle too of course.

      @CypherHoof They’re both unique in their own way! They’re sisters but both are not the same pony and they deserve to be their own self!

      Well, everypony in Equestria is unique in their own way - that's why they all have cutie marks :)

      But Celestia and Luna ARE visibly larger and more horse-like than their subjects. That doesn't make them any less beautiful, it is just part of who they are :D
