    I swear my dad has no concept of the fact he can’t just throw a phone call on me and expect it to go well. :dry:

    Every now and then when I go walk with him he’ll call a random family member or friend and if they happen to start talking about a subject he thinks I know about he’ll throw the phone at me and tell me to talk to him about it.  And then insist I do when I wave him away. 

    It’s so awkward!  I need practice before I make a phone call dang it! 
     

    Im not the type of person you can just throw something like that on and expect it to go well. :adorkable:

      I personally suck at phone calls. Before I even make a call, I have to spend about half an hour rehearsing what I want to say. If I'm expecting a call, I'm usually pacing back forth in front of the phone, also rehearsing every potential direction the conversation could take. :ButtercupLaugh:

      Lots of people don't like being put on the spot. I can hardly ever say the best or most clever thing when I need it. It's only in hindsight that I think of better things to say. :twi:

      @Treeglow Flicker  Same!   I get a weeks worth of exercise by pacing before a phone call.  :D

      @Samurai Equine Yup I’m not a think on the spot kind of guy.  
       

      Ive gotten okay at phone calls at work simply cause I typically know what to expect, but even then sometimes I answer the work phone and it ends up being awkward :adorkable:
