Artemisia

The farm's kitchen was empty, pots and pans were scattered on the floor and a platter that still had food, a bit past ripe too, on it was shattered on the floor. Wind blew through the open windows overlooking the farm land. Weeds had grown up and the crops looked ready to harvest. MaryAnne opened a cupboard to find a single jar of fruit preserves and some crackers that were miraculously not stale. She took some for herself and left the rest for Ruby. She scarfed down the food and left the kitchen. She went out to the hen house and found the chickens had laid many eggs, and their food troughs were empty. She fed the thinning animals their feed, and left for the large barn. Inside was Storms cow, and it was in dire need of being milked. With her telekinesis she milked the loud cow into a large silver bucket. She kept working in the silence, the golden glow of sunrise peeked through cracks in the wooden structure. (gotta eat lunch, back in a bit, will add more)

Artemisia blushed "Oh stop..." She giggled. She stood up and walked with him out of the building. When they entered the gardens fireflys illuminated the air and twinkling candles were tucked in little nooks and crannys giving the garden a soft orange glow. Magnificent flowers in pinks and reds bloomed everywhere, and draped the trees and benches, creating beautiful arches around trellices. Artemisia stood in awe of the beautiful scene, "Can't compete with that now can I?"

Artemisia was distressed when he left her out there alone.She frowned and followed him off the dance floor to the tables. She sat down next to him and put her hoof on his comfortingly. "You may be clutsy, but I think it's cute. Would you like to go out to the gardens?" She asked him.

Artemisia was lost in the song and did not notice Red's return, she stumbled over him while doing a turn. Well aqquainting herself with the dancefloor aswell. She looked at him and laughed, "Well we are certainly quite a pair Red." she giggled and threw her head back laughing at the silly situation.

Artemisia shook her head, and tried to dismiss her worries from her mind. After he left she fixed her hair ribbon and straightened out her dress. She heard the DJ start a fun song up and started dancing with herself as she waited for Red to return. As she danced her hair ribbon feel out and her mane cascaded down. She ignored it and kept on dancing.

@, "That would be nice," She smiled. As he held her in a tight embrace she frowned "Oh...all right. I am sorry for pushing the subject. Are you all right Red?" She asked him. She thought to herself What could be so sad? Have I gone too far for only knowing him a few hours?

I would probably say my perfect date would be: -First of all my first date -With someone I liked, who liked me -Fun and not too cheesy/gushy I would want to go out with someone who was nice and entertaining, and who'se company I could enjoy. I would probably want to go to the local soda or ice cream shop and wander the downtown area of my city talking.

Artemisia waas getting frustrated by his secrecy and avoidance of the subject, she sighed, and said to him "He is practically a little filly, he goes to the magic academy there, but we would like to transfer him to the school here if possible.". She tried once again to bring the topic around back to his family, "What about your family Red?"

She spun and faced him again, " Well I was a little filly here but my family and I have been travelling since then, I have been all over equestria and beyond, I am quite suprised that I have still retained a canterlot accent. My father is a diplomat for the princesses when they are to busy to attend meetings and my mother is...well I don't know about my mom." She shook her head "I also have a younger brother, he attends school in Phillydelphia." She smiled as she thought fondly of her family, " And your family?" she pushed the topic.

Artemisia enjoyed their embrace and stepped back, she led him towards the dance floor, and asked him "So special somepony...wow I love being able to say that...tell me more about you. Where are you from? What is your family like?" She asked and eextended her hoof out for him to hold as they danced the waltz playing.

"I'd love to." she smiled. This gala was the most wonderful thing that had ever happened to her. She smiled and took his hoof. "Would you care to dance to this slow song Red?" She asked him. This was turning out to be the greatest night of her life. He was...her special somepony.

Artemisia smiled and looked into his eyes "I think you know how I feel...". She leaned forwards and planted a kiss on his lips. Beautiful He thinks I'm beautiful. The moment felt as if it lasted forever. "...Handsome." She hoped he got the message, she didn't think she could be much clearer.

Artemisia was surprised by the sudden kiss, her eyes shot open wide. It took her a moment then she kissed him back. It was a moment of...bliss...it felt like they were in their own little world, everything else went quiet and it was just the two of them. She pulled back and blushed, "Wow..."

I am a very very heavy sleeper, sometimes ofcourse I cna't get to sleep but usually I can. One time I slept for over 24 hours straight.

I speak english, and am able to communicate successfully in american sign language, and I am taking french. I would love to learn more languages, it is one of my passions and perhaps I may find a career that may allow me the opportunity to use such skills.

My older brother, one of my best friends, has Aspergers Syndrome. He got diagnosed probably around 5 or 6, and he struggles with social situations and cues, but he is very high functioning. He is one of the smartest and most talented people I know. He is a great writer and the things he builds with his legos are super cool. And while we disagree sometimes, everyday i get to understand him more. He is working hard to get over any social issues he has and I am sooo proud of my older brother.

She giggled, "Why ofcourse you heard me correctly. I would also never play a joke like that on you." She smiled at him sweetly. She then thought "Oh! I'm not being too forward am I?" her eyes suddenly welled with worry and her face turned red. "You aren't pulling a joke on me either are you!?"

Artemisia's face blushed the brightest shade of red imaginable. She was...shocked...and happy.She grinned. "Yes! I would love to!" She replied giddily, then impulsively, she kissed his cheek. What has gotten into me? She asked herself, This is quite out of character for me...but wow! He asked me out!

"The honor was all ours m'lord. Thank you for accompanying us." She smiled back. She pushed the gate open with ease, the rusted hinges creaking. She grimaced and stepped through it. "Well, you may head back to your own estate, it has been a wonderful evening." She smiled at him, then frowned as she worried about the state of her friends farm. "I hope to see you in my tavern soon. Untill we meet again." She and Ruby closed the gate behind them and entered Storms farm. The abandoned farm was frightening in the dark of night and the wind blowing through the trees sounded like the eerie whistles and moans of ghosts and frightening monsters. She shivered as the spooky surroundings sent chills up her spine. She approached the front door and found it was left wide open. She entered the farm house and found it's darkness disnerving. She checked the drawers for matches to light the candles distributed around the house, but found none. She wandered into the hallway in whichthe bedrooms were located. "Ruby, you sleep in that bedroom, when it is light, we should clean and check on the house. I will sleep in this bedroom." She opened the door to Ruby's room and left her there. She entered the other bedroom and crawled underneath the quilted blanket. She quickly fell asleep. That night she dreamed, she dreamed of SilverMane and of a future when Equestria was in balance,and all was well. In this dream, she and SilverMane well...were in love. Upon awaking to the sickly crow of an underfed rooster, she sat up and shook her head. What a...pleasent...dream. She thought to herself. She pulled herself out of the bed and walked over to an armoir. She looked at her image in the mirror and touched her face and mane. She looked disheveled, and her fur had dirt in it. Oh what nonsense was that dream, a future impossible, in all ways. She shook her head. In an attempted to make herself look presentable, she brushed her mane and tail. She splashed her face with water and tried to wash out the dirt from her fur with a wash cloth. Still unhappy with her appearence she left the room and entered the kitchen. (Oh wow that is probably my longest post ever XP )

MaryAnne nodded, "Thank you sir." She followed him down the stairs and out of his home. "Thank you for showing us your lovely home, Lord SilverMane. And your divine view of the night sky and the stars." She added on. She checked over her shoulder to assure herself that Ruby was still there,which she was. Then turned back to face SilverMane as he led them out of his estate and onto the road. "It should be about a twenty minute walk around that bend." ((Your Choice))
