I appreciate you trying to promote the birthday thread to reclaim the celebration.  You guys are amazing. I am really resisting having to make a statement on something but you guys make me feel easier about it. I do love celebrations. I wish there was more of it in the world... it saddens me when people try to hurt or undo any desire to celebrate. I think that's why I like Pinkie Pie so much! She loves to celebrate. Like me, she came from a family who never understood the need for that. 

But life is already so crazy and can be so dark. Why not celebrate even the smallest of things that can be positive? ;~;
