Many stallions will want to be given this chance for me, but alas my father chooses who ever goes in and who leaves. It has been so long to remember any of the colts I grew up around, well there was one colt who did protect me and was the only one who was a good friend. His name was Sterling Nite, as children we we're friends in a heartbeat. We'd always sit beside each other while listening to the elderly tell stories, went hunting and prey practice, for fun we'd love playing hide 'n' seek in the night, and for combat we always play fight. As we got older we became best friends, he had my back as would I *sigh* I'll never forget him, he was a good friend, but knowing where he is now, no idea. We had to leave our home for awhile I haven't seen him since the departure" she said as it seemed to bring a smile on her face. "He was the only one who understood me more than anypony, he knew how to help even when I wanted to be alone. If he does show up, it would be nice to see him again." Adding on finally as the mare continue to walk.

"Well NightStrike, it's hard to say really, it's not that I don't think you'll win but I've seen these things happen before and, well it's never what you expect, but I have a good feeling about you...many stallions have lost their lives or seriously injured to the point where they can't even fly or walk the last around is the most gruesome it's a fight between the last two suitors but I know that you will win and once you do you'll be able to be excepted in the community of vampires." She said as she let out a sigh. Then as they walked they a flashback occurred to Rosetta when she was very young, as her father showed her the first time she saw death and gruesome battles. Coming back to reality the mare shook her head, trying to get away from that. "I just want you to know that, even if you say your strong, never underestimate vampires for our strength is larger than you think. When you're out there, please be careful.." She added on as they continued their way.

The mare stopped sniff the crisp air as she knew where to go. "This way, it's far away, we must walk out of the Everfree, passed the some grasslands, pass a few other villages, and once we hit the rocky parts outside of the village their will be a deep cave where we vampires stay. No mortals ever come near this cave, which gives us more privacy. To save extra piddling so we get there on time, we'll have to travel both day and night. So now is the time we should head off, that away." she said a the end she pointed her hoof to the direction they we're going to. Putting her hoof down she started walking.

Both of the ponies slept through the day, dreaming of the journey they'll take to get to Rosetta's home. Rosetta deep down inside knew that this wasn't going to be easy, she knew father would never accept a mortal in courtship with her. Mother was a bit softer so she might be easier to handle. The mare knew that if NightStrike didn't win, she would have to be forced to mate with the other suitor, that's why she had to make sure he was ready. As day went by the sun started to set, the moon making it way up peaking out as sky went of warm to dark the shimmering lights of the stars and moon brought the beauty with the night. The mare started to wake up, slowly opening her eyes an she let out a yawn. Stretching her limbs she pulled herself back on the branch. She flew down as to go to NightStrike nuzzling the back of his ears to awake him. "NightStrike, wake up...we must be going" she spoke softly.

Rosetta giggled as she gave him a small kiss on the cheek when he slapped himself. "Don't hurting yourself now I wouldnt want a single scratch on you, now the sun is going to rise, I must rest now. You should to, we have a long way ahead of us" she said still smiling as the mare walk to the nearest tree, climbing up to a branch, and hanged upside down closing her eyes.

"It will take us months to get there, by the time we get there it will be time for you to show what mortals and my kind can coexist together. NightStrike, you will have to take hard hits from the others, the cruel things that they will say. I just want you to know that whatever they say, don't let it get to you, for I to feel that everypony is important, never weak, never a waste, always meaningful." she said as the mare looked at him smiling, she was close enough to almost kiss, but she knew this and wanted to see what would happen.

"You must least try to play this off accordingly, regarding when I said for giving me blood, not yours although it is optional, but most stallions fetch it. This is a offering for me, once I recieve this I, Rosetta in return do whatever you ask me. But only one so each suitor thinks ahead of time what he wants after the offering. You'll see this once it happens. Usually some might want a few moments to gander at my looks, and do whatever they please to do with me, some rather hear me sing, it could be anything. And listen, this courtship can only happen if father chooses you. So when you win, this kiss is the most important because this isn't a normal kiss, you must bite me as well me to bite you afterwards. This will be a problem because you don't have the proper ones like I do." She said finishing as she opened her mouth slightly showed her fangs.

"Good..." she answered as she let him go and soon took a step back a bit. "Now the first thing to fit in vampire culture is to keep in mind that they are higher than you. Until they've accepted you, you must stay in that position. This is easy, when a stallion looks at you make don't stare back with no fear the key is to act like you fear them. Be sure to make it convincing but don't over do it, look at them quick and that's it. Do not start any fights, arguments what so ever." she stopped for a moment then began to continue. "The second part is the stats, for winning my hoof in courtship you must build up your stats that includes strength, agility, and wit. These will be important for when it's time for father to choose who proceeds until the very end. As the leading mare I must be fair so I will be watching during tasks. Third part is socializing, as the mare to be courted soon, each suitor will have the chance to be with me. How it goes is this, they give me blood, and I do what they ask of me. Do not hesitate to order me after giving blood, it is all about satisfaction in which a stallion can provide for me come my time of needs. As for other members, if you are gaining popularity and trust you may socialize with with the wise elders, other adults, and even my mother but not father." Rosetta still not but almost finished as sh continued to the final part. "And finally if you win victoriously the courtship ceremony will begin when there's a day where the full moon comes out. Of course that seals us together is a kiss, so be careful when doing so because of my fangs." she said giving NightStrike the load down for everything he had to do as Rosetta would guide him through the months.

Rosetta was surprised that NightStrike still wanted to do this, it was sweet and noble to do for her, he really showed pride in winning her heart over every single suitor that would be against him, something not a lot of vampire mares would want in a mate. "Well..." she said, "If this is what your certain about then I have no reason to stop you. I know even for a mortal against many other vampires it sounds ridiculous, stupendous, outrageous, complete nonessential if you will, and others would think you're crazy, and some might disagree and call it brave and true example of standing for what you believe in...but know that even explaining everything that is important, you must practice at it. To fit in our society you must mimicry how we act around others, to speak, to present that you, a mortal can fit in and show that both are races can coexist together, and when you make that mark, for mortals and vampire ponies to get along and work our problems out it will be then when their can't be any other reason for you to be in courtship with me." she finished walking a bit closer to give him a hug. "But you can't do it alone, and I will help you to become the first to many others to come in the future to fit in vampire culture...but you mus listen to everything I say and do what I ask of you, can you do that for me..?" she whispered while still in hug mode as her heart pounding against her chest excited, nervous and emotional at the same time.

"Well vampires don't really find mortal humor or anything your kind does amusing what so ever. With higher members such as the elderly, and my parents don't smooth talk, don't laugh, don't smrik and especially don't question them. As it goes for the others don't stare, don't point, be respectful, be loyal, stay away from trouble. Because father wants to choose a stallion for me you do not interrupt him or disturb the suitors, they are bigger than you, remember your trying to be able to fit into the society and because all vampires consider mortals below themselves you don't prove yourself above them. If you want to show my father you can provide for me you must complete tasks, which will prove your loyalty, strength, agility, bravery, cunning, and wit. I don't know what the tasks will be he chooses. Towards other females or their young you must ask permission from their partners to talk but not touch. And most importantly, if you are accepted like the other compatible suitors for me the last two fight until one in victorious and the other in near death. Anything else?" She said taking a breather to catch her breath after that explanation.

Rosetta seeing the outburst of joy that came out of NightStrike, of course she did feel that way but the back of her mind she wasn't sure if it was right or if this was serious. She decided to let these feelings grow, as days go on maybe her love for this stallion will start getting bigger. The mare remained calm as she took a deep breath and exhaled to answer him. "I'm not so sure, but what is sure is that neither would my parents or my clan will not like this, mortals are deeply hated where I'm from, but if father spares me a chance for you, then you will be able to stay." She replied looking very serious but worried at the same time.

So it was true, and if what her heart desired NightStrike then it had to be real as well. But then again Rosetta wasn't sure if she was ready for this, it had been years since she felt this way towards anypony. "W-Well I..I'm surprised but NightStrike, you must understand that I haven't felt this way in years, and I would not know of mortal courtship as the same for you but for vampire standards, yet deep down we are divided into different groups..it is all a blur to me, and yet..." she said pausing for a minute, "I too feel the same..." she finished as the mare blinked. Rosetta putting her hoof over chest just feeling how these emotions brought back memories of her past. Thinking about how a mortal and vampire could ever be together, how there could be peace between the two races.

Rosetta was surprised, how could any stallion fall in love with her all she saw herself was a monster, a beast, a creature in the night that takes away the lives of mortals, and NightStrike was in love with her. Rosetta couldn't figure out what to say, her face flushed with red as ears pressed down. Her heart just pounding like a drum, making her speechless, but she couldn't stay silent forever, she had to respond to him...but what could she even say?? Rosetta wasn't even sure if she felt the same, love to her was buried deep away like the rest of emotions since she been seporated from her parents. But up until she met NightStrike, he showed Rosetta to release and bring back those emotions. With him she knew it was okay to do so, and the way he treated her with that much kindness and honorary respect, and the all and all general way she felt about him...it all made sense. Without her noticing until now she had miraculously fallen in love with NightStrike too. "I-I don't know what t-to say...is what your s-saying true.." She spoke still madly blushing as the mare stuttered.

Hey everyone! Soo sorry about the long delay! I had to take a break and just a lot is going on with my life. I hope you can all forgive me but I'm back and finishing these request!! @Steel Accord I really need a picture of that cutie mark because I'm a perfectionist and I really don't wanna mess this request up so if you can get the full thing of the cutie mark, that would just be perfect! If you request someone else to do that take all the time you need for it okay? P/T!

Rosetta wasn't really paying close attention to NightStrike distracted by the beautiful moonlit sky. She turned to him as he continued to blush. "Pardon, NightStrike I was a bit off, what did you say?" She said with a smile. She was really curious to know what NightStrike was gonna say to say to her. Her heart raced just looking at him she wasn't sure why but it was a good feeling inside her.
