Sigh, I have an NES but I can't seem to get it to work... probably not halping that I dont have the original wires.... is the red light supposed to blink?
No, it isn't. If the red light is blinking, that means a proper connection between the cartridge's contacts and the console's 72-pin connector, which is causing the 10NES lockout chip to see it as a counterfeit game. Clean the 72-pin connector, as well as your cartridge, and try again.
