  1. Religion should have no say over what games you play. They're works of fiction, nothing in them is real.

What exactly does religion have to do with gaming overall? I really do not see the point. I kinda feel like you are just showing off your beliefs with this post, especially with that 'I really urge you all to follow Jesus!'. Propagating doesn't help your point any. Still, I am baffled by this post overall anyways.

God has something to do with everything when you believe he is the maker of everything, who created us to be in relationship with him in a perfect deathless world, who gave his only son to die for us for our wrongdoings.

I will follow him to death and beyond, and he (through the bible) is what I base my life on (and I have never been happier since I started).

Because of believing this, a lot of Christians do not think that gaming is good for Christians, and some non-christians have said to me "but in this game you kill people and there is sex in it! Your a hypocrite!!" ect, and more recently talking about things regarding to demons and magic.

This post was to help those people gain an understanding in an attempt to educate people on the issue.

Views even regarding the banning of pokemon by strict Christian parents have been discussed on this forum.

Regarding propagating it, I love him so much I just want everyone to share in this with me and it's hard to write 5000 on a topic which has a lot of stuff about Christianity/God in it and not point to him in a very obvious and big way at some point ><! (and yes that is a horrible and cringey statement to make ><)

  2. "The problem arises when these religious beliefs interfere with our supposedly secular government."

    Stats to begin with:

In the US An estimated 3.5% of adults in the United States identify as  lesbian, gay, or bisexual andan estimated0.3% of adults are transgender.

In the us 77% identify as Christian.

The government are elected to represent the people. If you presume that 1 in every 10 Christians in America don't support Gay marriage then that's 7.7% of the population against 3.7% LGBT/trans-gender. So buy these stats theoretically its public opinion for it to be illegal?

    In any case:

I would be careful, in the end religious issues will spill over then the elected are supposed to represent the views of the people electing them.
