  1. This topic appears to be a request thread and has therefore been sentenced to Creative Resources. The Commissions board is for artists who are *offering commissions* and have sought approval from Feld0, not a place to ask for a commission to be made.

  2. This topic appears to be a request thread and has therefore been moved to Creative Resources. The Fan Art board is for showing off and getting critique on works that you, the topic starter, have created.

P.S. 'Commissions' implies payment is involved. Since these are free, they're requests.

  3. These are great. Better than show-accurate even, with clean lines to boot. Hope to see more of your art around. :)

Also, do note that you can upload images directly to the forum when you're creating the post if you don't want to upload to photobucket ;)

  4. This thread appears to be related to the My Little Pony franchise and/or the Bronydom in general. Thus, it has been sentenced to Sugarcube Corner.

This is an automatically generated message, by the way.

  5. This topic appears to be a request thread and should therefore be in Creative Resources. The Fan Art board is for showing off and getting critique for works that you, the topic owner, have made.

  6. I thought it was supposed to be the RGB color sequence in digital technology... It does fit better that way, with the background being a circuit board and all :P

It's a bit of both, really :P They're all interrelated, what you see as different coloured pixels on your computer screen are really just groups of RGB subpixels. Stadium LED screens for example use combined RGB leds to display almost any colour by mixing and matching the intensity or the R, G and B. In the same way you get an RGB slider in Photoshop or GIMP when selecting colours :)

Nice! I must say I really like your OC's design. Is he a ponysona, or just an OC? I'm glad you're finding drawing in SAI enjoyable. Hope to see more art from you soon!

Haha I've asked that question of myself many times too, and I'm still conflicted   He is based off me (I do enjoy tinkering with LEDs and electronics IRL) and I do enjoy talking through him quite often so he's like a ponysona, but at the same time I want to have some creative freedom to make him more interesting as an OC.

If I really had to chose though, I'd go with ponysona :P

I wish I had more time to draw though :( Work doesn't leave much time for poni  :(

  7. I don't think you have to look very hard to find people who want Twilight to lose her new status and upgrade, and for things to return to the way they were before this episode. I think that's a bit backwards-looking, personally, but I can understand their concerns. It's not unlikely that the source of these rumours is someone in that category of folks, so it's probably just wishful thinking on their part. Without some sort of firmer clues, I would say this rumour is false.

I agree, it's just wishful thinking. Honestly I think the chance of Twilight turning back into a unicorn again is close to none. Having all that marketing done to drump up the hype for the Coronation Concert only to have her transform back again is just going to make Hasbro look like a total fool, not to mention it'd be a slap in the face for Celestia and everything that TS has gone through to Season 1. It just doesn't make any creative sense to backtrack after such a significant change in the plot.

  8. made another pony, check it out:

Princess Black Heart: like nothing, hates everything. Bent on making sure that when she's not having a good day, then no one else is either. Seeks to rule Equestria, the Crystal Empire, and beyond and will do whatever it takes to do so.

Strong constantly trying to hijack the thread =_=" You might want to post your OCs in a blog post or create a character page instead.

  9. <3 <3 If I could brohoof this a thousand times I would, I love it!! And yeah, that's actually quite an accurate representation of what I do during the night shift, tending to my beloved section :3

Now you're making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

  10. Well, I've read that the way I do outlines makes them more dynamic, but is the most time-craving if you're going to take thine time to make it properly and nice... Maybe we should do a collab some time~?

Well there's always the debate of whether to use black lines or follow the colour of the coat but in a darker shade. Personally I like either way :P

Sure, that would be interesting! Whaddaya got in mind? Unfortunately my new temp job leaves me only a couple of hours for poni each night :( I've even stopped drawing my own pieces due to a lack of time  :(

  11. I can't believe this doesn't have a single reply yet! >_<

How could I not brohoof work from one of my two SAI mentors :3 Great work! :)

I had an evil chuckle just now thinking what would happen if a sudden gust of wind blew in from the balcony.. that stack of papers looks oh so tempting....

  12. Thanksies~

Wait, what? The mane-texture? That stuff took me like a maximum of 10-15 minutes, and was probably one of the easiest parts for me to fix~ What really takes time for me would be outlining...

It's the other way round for me.  I was originally a vector artist before going into raster, so outlining always come naturally after hours of practice in Illustrator. It's the fills and textures that stump me because there's no provision for that (or at least, no easy one) in vector, the fills are always a solid colour :P
