    I guess it could be. Earth ponies have been pretty much confirmed to have a better connection to the land/nature, and it could be a form of magic. I like the idea

    I think that would be an interesting idea for Sunny, and I'd like to see it, but I'm pretty sure she won't appear in the series, only in the Equestria Girls movies, so I guess it depends on how much more we're going to see of them
