It took me 25 yrs to learn this ( I'm 25... slow learner); but simply think, "what is the best thing I could with the time I have been given right now?"; which could be, doing laundry, spending time in prayer, or in the spirit of Martin Luther... eat a good meal and have a fun evening with friends.

I'd second Virgil with that, since I was also a late-bloomer, and it took me over 20 years to realize my true purpose in life; getting my cutie mark, so to speak But I needed to reach the bottom to be able to bounce off of it and go to up. I was close to a suicide :s because my view on the world surrounding me was limited to the point I haven't seen any other way out. Fortunately, I started thinking about it, eliminating all what I don't want to do in my life, and what remained...

...was my true purpose and passion. Since then, I do what I can to hold up to them, no matter what other people think about it. Those are my happy thoughts that make me fly high.
