      Star Ocean is one of the older RPG series' out there. It caught a lot of attention for it's sci-fi mixed with medieval setting and fast-paced combat system. First Departure is a remake of the first game for PSP. The original never made it to the US and was on SNES. It wasn't until SO2 (most people's favorite) that it became popular on the PS1.
