I wonder where Celestia is. Normally she's here before everypony else, but maybe she's waiting for everypony to arrive first. Curious.

OOC Many years have passed from the time when the last of the Elements of Harmony have died out, Princess Twilight committing suicide after all of her friends had passed. Now under the threat of a takeover by the alicorn known as Lilith, the Elements of Harmony have been reforged into all new elements, ones that need new bearers to stop this threat. You have been called to the palace to receive these new elements, for Celestia has been watching your movements from her planar realm. You are the new heroes of Equestria. ~~~ A letter arrives for you. This, in itself, seems unsurprising. But the insignia makes the letter special. It is from your Princess of the Sun, Celestia. Dear (insert OC name here), I have summoned you to Canterlot under urgent business. Meet me in the highest tower in exactly three days time. We have much to discuss. -Princess Celestia ~~~ ((Minath and Rambler did not receive this letter)) Minath awoke in her house in Canterlot, the place she only ever stayed when Rambler was in town. She had to go in to work today, but for some reason Celestia had a meeting planned that Minath was to personally guard, with Rambler there also. The two set out for the tallest tower of the palace. When they reached the top, Celestia was yet to arrive. But other ponies seemed to be coming into the tower. Four ponies, it seemed.

It is simply what I am. " ~~~ Minath watched in horror as the battle went on around her. She singled out Caras and an idea dawned on her. Caras' body was made out of smoke, and you could blow smoke away... could it work? @@Child Of Darkness, Minath conjured up a swirling vortex around herself, her wings flapping and her eyes dripping the slate and gold auras. She sent the freezing blast of air at Caras. ~~~ @, Lumi watched the struggle between Tempest/Xena and Nightmare moon. She started chanting an ancient draconian war cry said to empower friends. "Im ynkern e, partut’yan k’vo t’shnami yem talis k’vo sharzhumnerin yev ognel dzez stanum hoginery!" ((My friend, defeat thy foe, I empower your movements and help you reap the souls!)) ~~~ DH watched the battle, and summoned both Chrmosh and had Guayota return to his form. Chrmosh began swatting around palace guards and Guayota biting them, tearing fur and flesh from bone and sinew.

Minath tensed up as she read the letter, and quickly shielded her thoughts. I am sorry Rambler, but if he captures you I must disregard both of our lives. If he holds you hostage, I will charge in anyway. The need of the many outweighs the need of the few. If Caras captures you, I will search for you, but it will not drive me mad as it once did. Se felt a snag in one of Celestia's magic tendrils, like a spider feels when a fly has landed in it's web. "I do believe Tempest Sol has returned. And Discord," Minath said, then turned to the god of chaos and spoke "I do not believe we have been properly introduced. I am Princess Minath Kidemonas, the captain of the Canterlot Guard, Slayer of Kings, Usurper of Tyrants, and most importantly, the legacy of Celestia." Minath added lastly, her eyes flashing the pink color of the late Princess' eyes. "You may not know me, Discord, but I know you. Everything Celestia knew is now in my possession. I am not threatening, but warning." Minath then turned to Luna. "You will open the letter that will arrive soon, and read it aloud. Am I clear, Luna?" I hope I know what I'm doing. I will do anything to protect those I love... even if it means making the ultimate sacrifice.

Something.... something's not right..." Minath said. Celestia had, as best for Mianth to put it, magical tendrils snaked through the palace to feel any disturbance.
