@@Harmony Cube, Silver Brush kept coming up with new ideas, then finding glaring flaws in them and discarding them. She wanted to come up with a decisive, strategic plan, but they have a limited time frame and every pony's beginning to panic. So after a minute, she came up with an idea that she thought might work. "I'm not sure about food and water, but I'm sure we can obtain some information. How about some pony go in as a spy of sorts?"

@@Mint Drop, Silver stayed silent for a while, listening to every pony's plans and coming up with some herself. Frankly, she liked the idea of finding somewhere to go while some pony keeps watch, but she picked up on potential problems and flaws. "But what if the guards come by? What will you do then? Can any of us even fight?"

@@Harmony Cube, @Everyone ​Crack of dawn… I hope nopony here is a late sleeper. Silver Brush looked worriedly at the nearby empire, all of its pristine beauty and its optimism replaced by a dark evil that she once thought only existed in stories of imaginary lands, times, and scenarios. The things one reads in stories really are different from actually being there. But this is no time to dwell on that. It won't help to say that it's all just a dream after all. Her ears twitched a bit when she heard the gloomy crystal stallion offer his house to stay in. She gave him a sympathetic glance and grin for a moment before she went back to being serious. "Well, this certainly isn't the place to plan our escape and it'll be awhile before dawn. What should we do in the meantime?" She glanced at her cloak and the saddlebag that held her dagger before brushing aside the idea that was forming in her head. (OOC: @, Silver woke up a while ago… )

@@Harmony Cube, Silver Brush watched as the questioning took place, a bit speechless to be in a place as melancholic as this dark, foreboding place. ​That flash… I wonder, did we jump back in time somehow? If that's the case, then… Looking around, she extended her hoof for a hoofshake toward the dull-looking Crystal Pony (which just drove the point home where they are, at least in her mind) and said softly with a smile,"It's a pleasure to meet you. Can you at least tell us where in the empire we should be?" Considering the deliberate downplay of her usual courtesy, she at least decided to not outright state the malevolent unicorn's name.

@@AnonBrony,@@Harmony Cube, When she felt a small nudge, Silver Brush slowly came to, faintly making out voices somewhere… Next to her? A few feet away? Until she actually woke up, she couldn't tell. But when her vision came back to her, it was a most horrible sight. ​N-no. Is this… what I think this is? "By any chance, did some pony mention 'Sombra'?" she asked, sitting up and levitating her saddlebags and cloak over to her. She looked pretty calm on the outside, but on the inside, she mine as well be a scared little filly.

Silver's dread became reality when she saw the drunk pony stumble onto the scene. If she were given enough time to react, she would've courteously escorted her to a hotel or some other place, but she wasn't given it. With little to no time to react, she gasped as the mare stumbled against the Crystal Heart and light filled her vision. She only heard every pony's startled reactions as the world darkened around her.

@@AnonBrony, ​A mage? Does he go to that big academy in Canterlot that's run by the princess? No, he seems to be more independent. It certainly wouldn't be wise to respond,"I consider myself more of an assassin," which she really doesn't think is true, but the traits are still there. "Are you-" she stopped suddenly, also noticing the approaching group of ponies. She could've assumed that they're a tourist group, but the Crystal Ponies accompanying them didn't really remind her of guides. Silver then began to feel a tiny bit of dread again, but not the same kind she experienced a few minutes away. Is something about to happen?

@@AnonBrony, "A little bit of both. I'm interested in history and what-not, so I'm here for that. Being a scribe can also get pretty tiring after awhile, so there's that as well," Silver Brush said. "But you say that you're studying crystals here? I would love hear what you've found out so far. Unless of course you just got here." A little bit of laughter followed that last one. At the same time though, she felt a little bit of dread build up inside, like she's missing something. Which she is.

@@AnonBrony, She looked a little surprised when the stallion spoke up. She hadn't met another pony who expressed interest in poetry. Then again, she was always tied up with her scribing job, so it would've been difficult to sit down for tea and cake anyways. "I have actually," she said, smiling all lady-like for a moment before gazing up at the Crystal Heart again. "I'm no mage, but the magic of this kingdom and its inhabitants fascinate me. I mean, repelling a villain with a force fueled by hope and love? I wonder if any of that magic remained during Sombra's rule?" She then stopped, remembering her manners. "Oh, where are my manners? I'm Silver Brush," she said, doing the pony version of a small curtsy.
