Amber looked around her to only see tempest sitting on the ground so she sat down with tempest and crossed her legs, "why did you close the door with only us in here?" 

 

((no but seriously we totally left everyone else behind, it is only me and tempest in the elevator at the moment XD))

Dan was currently running toward the abandoned factory. "No way that was a dream." He said to himself. one minute he was fighting off a horde of bugs, the next, he was back in his dorm as if nothing happened. "I gotta figure this out." He finally approached the Factory and went inside, only to see the people he just met not too long ago...or later on...damn time travel.

Tempest glanced at Amber, and shrugged. "Well... It's not like they can't follow us." He said, laughing nervously. The teen then smiled slightly, and felt his entice body get hot for some strange reason. "Anyway, what was your life like before attending aka doc?" The teen wasn't dactyl curious, but he did want to end the currently awkward moment.

Rick glared at Genesis, his voice biting, "I'm usually very relaxed, but not when [/b]I could be putting people in danger." He shook his head as the two freshman descended, "You know what though, as wrong as I think that kid, Tempest is, he was right about one thing: we can learn from our mistakes, I certainly plan to. Nobody listened to me before, why would they listen to me now. I'm out of here, try to not let anyone get themselves killed." He turned away from the elevator planing to head out of the factory completely.

 

However he caught sight of the other three students that had been down in that secret room, so he headed to them instead. "I'm glad to see you all are alright." He smiled at the girl that had saved him, "it was Meghan right? I heard her," he nodded at Whisper, "yelling it down there. I'm Rick and it might not have really happened anymore but thanks for brining me back down there, I don't know what would have happened if I had actually died."

Amber rolled her eyes and shifted to be across from Tempest, "Well first you don't have to be nervous, and you don't seem too interested about my actual life before this so why exactly should I tell you? Oh and we never were properly  introduced, my name is Amber, I am 14 in my freshman year, how about you?"

Tempest shrugged slightly, and smirked. "I guess I didn't really have the time before." He said. "As for introductions, my name is Tempest and I'm actually 15 years old. I was homeschooled most of my life... until recently." The teen then sighed, and looked at the ceiling. "My parents died in a car crash, and I had to move here with my aunt and uncle. They're nice people, but that doesn't exactly help the healing process."

Once Dan noticed everyone in the room, he decided to make himself known. He walked up to the group. "Well, I guess all that stuff wasn't a dream, huh." He said as he put his hands behind his head in a relaxed manner. He thought as much, It was all much too real to be a simple dream.

Genesis had enough of the mingling, rick and Amber reminding her why she hated talking to people. After he left and the elevator dropped; she stuck another cigarette in her mouth and lit it on the way out. Whatever was down there, she didn't really care so much. Her end was smashing her finger against a screen and as far as she was concerned that wasn't enough to get in the elevator again.

 

Whisper shook her head "I don't know him." But the object of their conversation decided to introduce himself. "Oh Rick, I'm so sorry for what happened. But it did happen. I'm Whisper and this is my friend Meghan."

 

"It doesn't seem like a dream, we all recognize each other...it's strange. You were in there right? In the Lyoko place?" she asked Dan.

"Yeah, I was there." Dan said, answering her question. "It was pretty cool to me." except for the nightmarish giant hornets that shot lasers, but he'd keep that to himself.

Meghan gulped and tried to actually stay with a group for once, instead of running away like usual.

Amber looked down at her feet and then back up to Tempest, "My parents left me at the side of the road, if it wasn't for stories I wouldn't be here and what we are dealing with is stories." Amber stood up as the door dinged open and pulled tempest up and out. "What we need to figure out is what this thing is and how it works, then maybe we can figure out why it is even here, now come on." She said this as she climbed down the ladder into the main computer room.

"But what happened? What was it like? Whatever it was, it sure made those two determined" she asked Dan, motioning towards the elevator.

 

She agreed with Rick; leaving this thing alone for now would be best. She had no idea what they were getting into and frankly, she was too scared to find out. She slipped her hand back into Rushs'; not knowing what else to do but she was scared.

X.A.N.A was resting now; busily adding new information to his database. He noticed Amber and Tempest in the elevator, listening in on their stories. He kept an eye on Tempest mostly; searching his vast memory for the reason why this kid brought up a red flag.

Rick smiled at Meghan, "I couldn't leave somebody in trouble like that and you saved me so we're totally even. "As for what happened, well I know it did happen but things reset we went back in time; so it's kinda like it didn't happen..." He looked around watching other kids going upstairs to the party, "also it seems like we're the only ones that remember it."

 

He looked at Dan, "I only saw you on the screen for a second but you were in the game, how did that happen? What did you do in there? The others made it sound like what you did sent us back."

"I don't know what to tell you guys," Dan said, sort of shrugging off the numerous questions headed his way. "That place was fun, but deadly. We got attacked by some hornet things and they nearly killed all of us. Luckily I tackled Tempest into the tower before that could happen. Next thing I know, he's doing something on this funky looking panel and suddenly I'm back in the past." He finished.

Meghan was confused at the mention of a 'game'. "Game? What game? The only things that I remember were going into that weird computer room, seeing a weird yellow eye symbol, running my hands along the surface of the computer to see if I could change the screen and then getting electrocuted." Meghan said slowly. She was running the events through her head and tried to figure out what it all meant. She started to pace a bit and thought about it. "But I didn't even feel electricity when I touched the computer. It just sort of happened instantly ..."

"Well that's pretty important!" Whisper exclaimed. Dan had played it off like it was nothing being transported into a video game via computer in an old abandoned factory. Whisper took her braid in hand, nervously wringing it. This computer thing sounded malicious, what's worse; it sounded aware.

Amber walked over to the console and sat in the chair which she then turned to the screen. "so there must be some way that this computer can be controlled, after all Lyoko is a game, right? " Amber spun the chair around to face Tempest with a concerned look on her face, "Right?"

Until now, Rush had just taken everything in stride, not bothering to question what they were saying. But seeing Whisper worried upset him. He wrapped an arm around her reassuringly.

"Yeah, I guess it is kind of important." He said to Whisper. "Truth be told, I don't really like to question things. If they happen, then they happen." That might as well be his motto since he's always the one to charge in first, often without thinking beforehand. He then noticed the elevator stop working and called it. When it arrived he stepped inside. "All aboard. Next stop, Hell." He then laughed to himself at the joke.

Meghan sighed and followed the boy in. "Hell? I doubt we'd be going there, but considering whatever jus happened, it may as well be." Tara said as she crossed her arms. She blew some hair out of her face and leant against the back of the elevator. "You coming or what!?" Tara asked the other three.

Tempest shrugged slightly, unable to really think of anythin else. "That was what it appeared to be." He said. "I mean, we had our own character, were in a virtual world, and foght monsters. Just add in a few NPCs and it's basically a VRMMORPG." The teen then glanced at the computer screen. "Whatever that thing was, it seemed to be able to influence the real world. This isn't just a game. It's a game of life and death." He thought.

"Ok, well we should see what we can do. Judging by our powers in the machine supposing we don't change every time we go in I have more protection," Amber booted up Lyoko and wen't to stand in the tube, "You stay out here and guide me, at the very least we need to see what that tower is that we didn't get to. Now go sit in the chair when I get in you should see me on that map, lead me to the tower." Amber sat down and closed the tube. "Press that button on the console when your ready."

Tempest shook his head. "I'm coming with you." He said. "We don't know what's in that world, and I don't want anything to happen that we can't control." He said. "We can find the tower given enough time." With that, Tempest started the virtualization process on a timed delay, and quickly got into one of the tubes. "Here's hoping for the best." He thought, as he felt his muscles tense.
