Tempest sighed as he walked back to the computer room. He noticed that Rush was still there, and simply shrugged, before sitting down and starting up his laptop. "I wonder if I could find some old files on this place." He thought, as his screen was filled with blueprints and other schematics for the supercomputer. An idea then struck the teen. If the scanners had a backup power supply in case of a power outage and his computer, whcih had it's own separate battery, was basically a extension of the supercomputer, then he may be able to get into Lyoko and fix everything. The teen then cleared his computer of the files and did a scan of Lyoko. "I'm smarter than you give me credit for, XANA." He thought to himself.

Dart grinned and gave her a thumbs up. "Great. Gkad I got the rightnperson." He said. Then waved and walked a little bit of the ways towards the factory. 'Where would Rick and Dan be?' Dart thought to himself as he gazed at the factory. He wasn't sure if they were still in the factory anyway.

Before Dan left to spy on Genesis seeing as she knew more about this than Rick. He made his way over to Tempest. "By the way," He said in a hushed tone so he wouldn't be overheard, "I think we should keep anything of interest to ourselves. I'm sure you've noticed the weird things going on and i'm not sure who to trust." With that, Dan left the factory.

Tempest simply nodded at Dan's concern. "Considering the fact that we're the two of the four people that went to Lyoko, that's understandable." He thought to himself. The teen then went back to trying to get power to the scanners and find a way into Lyoko. "They may not trust me, but I'm not about to let my mistake ruin anyone else's life. I know that this is my fault, I knew that when I turned on the bloody supercomputer."

Rush sighed. "I'll admit I don't really know half of what you guys are talking about, but if you want to stop this thing, shouldn't we be trying to keep it from sucking power away from the school? Because when I left, there were exploding lightbulbs and crap. Seems like that's something we should be dealing with."

Tempest pinched the bridge of his nose, and sighed. "We won't be able to do anything until we find a way into Lyoko." He said, obviously losing patience. "Trust me on this." The teen then went back to what he was doing before. He wasn't in the mood for talking and needed to concentrate.

The Rick clone spotted the girl leaning against a tree a short way from the factory looked like she was talking with some other boy. 'Great, more meat shields trying to get in X.A.N.A.'s way,' he thought to himself. As he approached he let out a sharp whistle to get her attention, he ignored the other kid, "so you said you wanted to talk with me about something? Also you've got some cigarettes on you right? Let me bum one." He had no interest in the effects that the real Rick's smoking habits left on the mind.

"Right." she threw him the pack. Genesis pushed off the tree and motioned for him to follow "I think it best if we went to your room. Do you still have one at the hotel?"

 

She stopped at the gates; waiting his answer before doing anything else, like delving the information she had.

Dart gave up on searching for Rick and Dan so he headed inside the factory and back to that room where the others were talking. "What is going on here?" Dart asked himself. He should be back at school but this was just too intriguing to pass up the opportunity. He began looking around at the setup that was there.

He caught the pack and lit one as he walked with her. Her question made him raise an eyebrow at her and shook his head, "man, you call me a stalker but you're the one that keeps getting me into situations were I'm alone in hotel rooms with you. Hard for me to think you're not interested." He chuckled a little darkly as he took the lead heading for the hotel. He looked back over his shoulder at her, "yeah I've still got it, my parents are planning to rent it for the whole damn year; so they can drop by unexpectedly if they need to or I can have a home away from school. Blah, what a bunch of bull."

 

They arrived at the room, the Rick clone unlocked the door and waved her in first and paused momentarily considering if he just attacked her now that he would have one less meat-bag in X.A.N.A.'s way. But he decided he would hear her out first, besides maybe she could have her uses... She had definitely helped him with her actions so far. He entered and closed the door, "so what's up and so important you needed me in private?"

Tempest sighed as he finally managed to reroute power from a backup generator to one of the scanners. "Now that that's out of the way, time to get to work." He thought. With that, the teen started the virtualization process and put up his laptop. He then walked into the scanner and waited.

 

(Might as well have some way into Lyoko.)

As he was heading into the scanner, Rush grabbed him by the shoulder. "Wait. Whisper told me to stay with you. If you're going in there, send me in with you. I'm not breaking my word to her, and besides, whatever is going on, I want in on it. So do whatever tech stuff you have to so I can come. I promise I'll have your back in there."

Tempest shook his head and sighed. "I'm not dragging anyone else into this. I'll explain when I get back, and I could only get power to one of the scanners." He said. "Trust me. I can handle myself." With that, the doors slid shut and the virtualization process began. "This chaos ends now." He thought.
