Snail's Special Talent

This is something that's been bugging me for a while now. I've been sloshing it around in my brainhole, and I can't figure out what Snail's special talent would be. We know his cutie mark is a snail, so it must be snail related. (Also, I know the writers probably gave him that to indicate that he is slow witted, but I don't think being slow qualifies as a special talent)

 

I thought at first that there must be some positive quality in snails, and that Snails exemplifies that quality. Like how Spiderman has the proportional strength of a spider. But honestly, I can't think of anything good about snails. 

 

And then there's magic. Unicorn magic is suppose to help them with their special talent. Does this mean that Snails has snail based magic? Can he make things fizzle if you put salt on it? Is he just really good at finding snails, like Rarity is with gems?

 

 

At least Snips is good at cutting things. Theres gotta be SOMETHING that Snails can do.

Cutie marks don't always represent one's special talent in my opinion.

Maybe hes unsquashable in a different sense, like nothing gets him down. That'd be a pretty cool thing for him to have.
