Gonna re-watch seasons 1, 2, and 3. Episodes to skip?

Once again, thanks for all the fantastic responses. There's quite a few varying replies here, and I do understand those who are just recommending to watch all of them. Keep in mind that I have watched the series before so even though my memory is limited I still have an idea of what I liked and what I didn't like. I'll skip the obvious ones (Mare-do-well, Spike at your service) and use the responses from this thread along with my own preferences and memory to decide which other ones to skip. For example, I'll watch Over a barrel and A bird in the hoof simply because I fondly remember those episodes but I'll skip Show Stoppers just because the CMC earn't really that interesting to me and Boast Busters because I like Trixie but I don't like that episode's plot.

Just watch them all, some episodes people consider the worst might be one you'll actually love, and vice versa

I agree with this philosophy. I personally don't there think is such a thing as a "bad" episode... sure there are ones I dislike, but none are inherently awful (imo at least). So just watch 'em all! You'll be glad you did later.

I'd say watch them all and then comeback and say which ones you wouldn't watch again. Some people hate episodes like Mare Do Well and others like them a lot.

 

Ones that I wouldn't go out of my way to watch again would be Boast Busters, Owls Well that Ends Well, Dragon Quest, Putting Your Hoof Down, Spike at Your Service, and Games Ponies Play.

I'd avoid those episodes. In fact I usually do.

I don't see what's so bad about it, honestly it's one of my favorite episodes

Pretty much what everyone says here. Some people hate some episodes, some people don't say they're bad, just not good (there's a difference), some just love all episode. 

 

However, if you really want to put out some episodes...

 

1-10

1-18

2-6

 

That's the ones where I don't have a good impression.
