Vacation! The long awaited time has finally come around, and with the shores and relaxation beckoning, everypony seems to be headed to the same place. The hotels are getting crowded, and strangers are surrounding on all sides, and maybe, just maybe, special relationships will be formed...

Remix beamed as she felt the sun on her coat. "Oh my gosh! So excited!" She squealed, bouncing on her hooves as she tugged her saddlebags slightly further up her back. She spun in a small circle, surveying her surroundings and simply enjoying the feeling of not having and responsibilities. "Alright, now... Where is this hotel?" she murmured to nopony in particular, pulling a small sheet out of her saddle bags and unfolding it with her magic. "Hmm... Maybe somepony around here knows where it is?"

Melody walked slowly toward the hotel. She was thinking to herself about ponies liking her. She was a very shy pony and it would take quite a bit of time for her to get used to somepony. She saw an excited mare hopping and trotting to the hotel. She decided to follow her with her saddlebags and luggage.

Veigar appeared in a small, purple sphere of magic in front of the hotel. He was carrying several saddlebags and his luggage. While most of it were clothes, there were also magic books, his own private belongings and other miscelanous stuff. "So this is the hotel they refered to in the leaflet? Hmph, they surely did not lie with the picture at all!" the small stallion said in a high-pitched voice, his face hidden by the inmense shadow of his and his coat. A little vacation wouldn't hurt one of the most powerful wizards Equestria had ever met.

Veigar stepped inside the hotel and walked to the pony who was occupying the charge of receptionist. "Hello there! I come here for the room I honestly reserved with my own money. If I'm not mistaken it is room 203..." Veigar told the receptionist with quite an angry tone. "Surely sir! Here is the key. Do you want one of our staff members to help you upstairs with you-"

"No! I can do it myself! You are saying that because I'm small, aren't you!? I can make you mincemeat!" Veigar answered angrily, almost boiling in anger. "No no sir! It's the policy of the hotel!" the receptionist answered scared and gave him the key. "Oh, in that case...excuse my behaviour. I can go by myself," Veigar told him and took the key. He put it in his pocket and simply looked up to the stairs.

Saddlebags in tow, Cassidy cautiously walked up to the hotel. Try to make the effort to socialise, his mind told him.

He walked over to the mare behind the front desk. "Excuse me. I'm here for my stay in the room I reserved?"

"Ah, yes sir. Right this way," said the receptionist. She lead him upstairs to his bedroom. "Would you like any help unpacking?"

"Oh, no thanks," replied Cassidy, unzipping his saddlebags.

He began stacking the books that made up at least a third of his luggage.

Code was laying on a couch in the lobby, headphones in his ear and all his luggage on the floor next to him. Code had gotten to the hotel at check-in time, but his room was not ready yet for him to move into. So, to pass the time, he was laying on the couch, listening to music while he watched others go in and out of the hotel.

Atheia.

Well... this was it!

Sure, it was filled with ponies. Sure, she would have to be near them. A lot of them. At the same time... but most ponies couldn't fly, right? And she got her own room, away from all the crowds for if she needed to be alone.

Atheia didn't like crowds. She didn't particularly dislike ponies, it was just that they tended to get so noisy and touchy and chaotic... and a couple of them were quite rude as well. No, she usually much preferred to stay away from others, but this was supposed to get her out of that habit!

The Hyppogriff entered the hotel - doing her best to appear confident, and not to shy away from the other guests. Not that she needed to - whether they were mistaking her for a griffon or simply afraid of the non-pony, most ponies nervously shuffled aside.

"I'm... uh... staying here?" She said, only stuttering slightly as she made her way to the reception desk. The pony behind it grinned... evidently he had known what to expect today. "I've already paid back in Canterlot... that's how it works, right?"

"Of course, of course! Here's your keys ma'am!" He chirped on a fashion that might have seemed confident if he hadn't practically thrown them into the counter. "Enjoy your stay!"

Atheia picked up the keys - peering at them for a few seconds: she stepped aside for the ponies behind her to approach the counter, but didn't leave the lobby. She just stared at the keys - how was she sun board to know which room they opened? Did she just choose one? Or did those little numbers mean something?

Veigar saw different ponies arrive in to the hotel. Two were mere ponies, some was a particularly cute mare who was lsitening to some music on her headphones, while the other was a simple green stallion who was talking to the receptionist he talked before. Then another different type of guest arrived to the place: it was a griffon. While he did not particularly hated griffons (unlike the eternal hatred he showed towards Chrysalids), he found them a very interesting race, but maybe that was because he used some of them as guinea pigs to try his spells years ago.

"Well...I guess now it's time to carry this up to my bedroom...who do they think I am!? Asking me if they could carry my stuff! I can do it alone!" Veigar thought angrily to himself and looked up to the stars. It seemed like he had a pretty long way up to his room in case he decided to walk his way to his room, but there was no way his hooves decided to walk any inch on that devilish spiral. His staff glowed purple and it surrounded him with the same purple magic and teleported him upstairs and in front of his room. "Ah! I should be a staff member here, I do a helluva' lot better job that any of those slouchs!" With his key, he opened the door to find a pretty pleasing room inside: a very big bed, windows to let air and sunshine inside, air conditioning, a bathroom and a lot of space for him to try out his spells. "This is a room!" The evil wizard exclaimed and quickly started to unload his things into the drawers, leaving the books on the night-table.

Melody finally made it to the hotel after a slow and cautious walk. She then went to the front desk and asked for her key, which the pony gave it to her.

She then turned and saw a stallion on the couch with his headphones on. Melody then made her way to the elevator.

Feather Arrived the the Hotel.

"Ugh, It is very quiet may be the hotel is closed "

But the gleaming, warm sun reminded Feather that it is the warmest season in Equestria.

"I deserved this Holiday after spending all year working in the Meadow."

Feather slowly trotted up to the Front Desk.

"Hi, I booked a room"

"Whats your last name ma'am"

"Grass"

The Mare at front desk types something into her computer.

" Okay. Ms. Grass you are in room 202"

The Mare hands Feather her Key Card

"Thank You"

Feather then trotted up to the elevator with an other Pony (@C. Thunder Dash) standing inside.

@@Feather Grass,

Melody turned and saw the mare. She just looked at her shyly, trying to hide her face in her mane. "Hey..." Melody said softly, but loud enough for the mare to hear. She wasn't the usual one to strike up conversations, as it took her a while for her to get to know ponies.

Feather turned and replied to the filly.

"Hi! I am Feather Grass, What is your name?"

Feather then opened her saddlesack and pulled out a box of some obscure candy and started eating.

"Want some?" Feather said pointing the box of candy in Melody's direction.

The elevator reaches Feather's stop.

"Well this is where I get off, See you around Melody! (@C. Thunder Dash) "

Feather steps off the elevator and counts the room's

102,103...200,201 Here's my room 202.

Feather then swipes her keycard and the door unlocks.

Inside is a small kitchen area that has been thoroughly cleaned and polished, A lounge with a Sofa, TV and a computer which you have to swipe your keycard to access and a bedroom with a large princess sized bed.

"Ahh... Well lets unpack my things."

So Feather opened her large saddle sack and hastily threw her clothes in the cupboard. Dumping her personal care kit (which contains toothbrush, hairbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and some strange brand of baby oil) in the the bathroom sink.

Feather admired her speed unpacking.

"Well that's done. Time to update my blog!"

So Feather swiped her keycard into the computer and updated her blog.

Remix whistled an upbeat tune to herself as she pushed open the door to the hotel. She had finally found it, after many wrong turns and a lot of asking. Her eyes widened as she glanced around, and she wolf-whistled lowly at the beautiful decorations, amazed she had made a good choice for once. She bounded up to the receptionist, smiling wide at the slightly stunned pony. "Hey! I booked a room! I think it's number 321?" she asked, and the receptionist checked her book for her name.

"Oh of course! Ms. Remix?" she asked, and when she nodded in response, handed her the key with a smile. "Need any help?"

"Nope! I think I'm good!" Remix responded with a smile, shuffling her saddlebags up her back and beginning to start towards the stairs, a happy smile on her face as she resumed whistling the jaunty tune. The only reason she stopped was because she noticed a griffon or something of the like standing to the side, seeming completely and utterly confused. "Oh! Hello! Do you need some help?" she chirped, cheerfully smiling at the griffon. []

After having put everything in order, Veigar decided to take some books with him and his staff before walking out of the bedroom. He wasn't going to be practicing, he just brought the books to read them and he also brought the staff just in case...mostly to keep himself safe from any kind of misfortune. While he HIGHLY doubted anything bad would happen, it was always good to be prepared. When he walked out of the room he realised there was also an elevator, something that made him quite pissed in his mind. He took a deep breath as to not start swearing angrily and pushed the button to call for the elevator. He tapped his hooves against the floor and waited...

"Annd that should do it"

Feather finished her blog post. Glancing at the corner of the monitor she noticed that it was still the middle of the afternoon.

"I might hit the beach"

So Feather packed her beach bag with her oil and towel.

"whoops I nearly forgot something"

Feather dashed to her cupboard and removed her glasses and wore her (expensive) prescription sunglasses.

"Ready to go!"

Feather exited her hotel room and trotted over to the elevator.

"Floor 6"

"Floor 5"

...

"Ground Floor"

Feather flew out of the elevator and as she does notices a stallion listening to music on the lounge sofas.

"I wonder what he is listening to..."

Seeing the doors Feather trotted out and followed the signposts to the beach.

Atheia.

@@MiniKirby123,

Atheia had stepped slightly aside, far enough that the ponies would have to cross her to pass by: she hadn't expected them to even come close, never mind address her directly.

"Oh!" She gasped, fumbling as she almost dropped the key. Hooves weren't anywhere nearly as practical as claws for dealing with such tiny things. "Oh, no... yes... uhm..."

Peering towards the pony that had spoken with her unusually friendly, hunters eyes, she started to feel the embarrassment setting in. Why did she struggle so much with what must be the most basic understanding of pony culture?

"I mean, maybe? I've got this... key? But I don't know where it, uh... where it goes. It says 318 on it but... that doesn't really help..."

Just perfect: she had been here for just a few minutes and she was already asking for help from a stranger: or rather, she had offered help without even being asked!

"I'm sorry..." The Hippogriff smiled weakly. She waved a wing around at the rather impressive surroundings. "I'm not used to all... this. Did I really look that out of place?"

Silver Spades' slowly walked towards the area that had been highlighted on his map. He smiled and looked back at the luggage he had packed, both his bags floated in the air behind him. The staff near the docks had been kind in helping him with his request to walk towards the hotel. Spades never took many vacation's away from his shop or home, so he wanted to fully take in his surroundings.

After a short trek through some woodland, spades' could finally see the hotel's doors in sight. While it was much more different than he had imagined, Spades' was still happy to see it all the same.  'Who knows, there might even be a nice place to play a hand sometime.'

With that last thought still in his mind, Spades' continued to walk towards the building. As he did, a mare passed him by @@Feather Grass,. Halfway up the path to the beach Feather noticed a stallion walk past "I wonder if he is staying at the hotel also..."

After the walk Feather saw the silent, beautiful beach.

"Finally there"

Feather stepped on the soft, relaxing sand.

"Ohhh... this is the softest sand I have ever felt"

Feather then layed her beach towel down and ended up falling asleep!

At last, the goddamn elevator arrived and Veigar was already very angry. It might have only been a minute, but still he was very short-tempered. He looked around and walked into the elevator and pushed the 1F button repeateadly in a furious way. Eventually, the elevator's doors closed and it started to move down and to the lobby. Veigar walked out of the stupid capsule and shook his head. "No! No way I'm getting into that Hell's thing-a-majig ever again! I'll reconsider using magic next time," he told to himself angrily and looked around. More and more ponies were arriving. He didn't know any of them at all, mostly because he had spend his whole life isolated from the others. But he knew that if he started to socialize with some of them, maybe he would make some friends. He walked to a door that lead to the beach down the hotel and simply stood there, his face still completely shadowed by his clothings.

Code had been watching the other guests go on their merry way through the lobby. One mare had looked at him and walked to the elevator. Another had raced to the elevator before the doors closed and got in. A green stallion had come through and took the stairs. A very odd pony with purple apparel came through as well, making Code think what kind of characters came to these places. As he remained laying there, watching that one rushing mare again go through the lobby to the outside, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He took off his headphones and looked to see that it was one of the receptionists with a keycard.

"Sir, your room is ready now." The receptionist said.

"Finally." Code said with a sigh of relief. "Thank you." He added as he took the card. He got up from the sofa and grabbed his luggage as he headed to the elevator. He looked at the card number. "Great, top floor." He said as he read the room number on the card. Code got to the elevator after that weirdly dressed pony walked out and he went inside and pressed the "4" button.

Remix giggled slightly as the griffon who didn't look quite like a griffon fumbled with the keys. She seemed startled, and that amused her for no real reason. "Oh! That key! That's a room key. I've got one too, see?" she asked, waving the key levitated with her pink magic in front of the other being. "318 is the room it belongs too. Mine is 321, which means that I'm not that far down from you! I think we're on the same floor. I may as well show you to your room." she said, happy that she had already met one of the ponies/griffons/beings that was staying at this hotel. "Hehe! Don't worry, I was just as confused as you the first time round. Now I'm a little more acquainted with how everything works. Anyway, you alright with taking the elevator?" she asked, smiling as she trotted over to the lift, sticking a hoof in to stop the doors from closing and slipping in just in time. "Sorry." she said, slightly sheepishly, to the pony already in there. "Should be floor 3?" she shrugged, unsure and pressing the button anyway, adjusting the headphones around her neck.

Atheia.

@@MiniKirby123,

"Uh. Sure, why not?" Atheia stammered as she followed the pony towards the small, confined box.

In truth, she wasn't alright with taking the elevator - not at all... trapped in a tight space with others, surrounded with metallic walls that moved? The very thought made her feel anxious...

However, it meant that she wouldn't get lost, and the pony was already inside by now.

Following apprehensively, the technophobic Hippogriff did her best to force a smile - she didn't want the pony to think that she was strange... well, not any more than she probably already did.

"So..." Atheia said, desperately trying to think of something to distract her attention as the doors closed. "... uh... what's that thing? Around your neck?"

Code waited for the doors of the elevator to close, and when they did start to shut, a mare stopped them and entered the elevator with what he believed was a griffon. Them mare apologized to him. "No, don't worry about it. It's fine." He replied to her as he watched her hit the button to her floor and the doors began to close.
