"Not too long ago. The newbie Pirate Lollipop set sail and went into the vast seas. Along her way she recruited a powerful ally named North, a powerful devil fruit user with a kind heart. Quickly realizing that she'd need a ship that could carry more than two ponies, she stopped at LogueTown to claim the head of some big shot pirate to earn some quick cash.  Anyhoof...Let's get started"

 

Lollipop trotted into the local tavern with her trusty crewmate North by her side. She wanted to see if she could push a little information out of ponies in the place. Upon noticing the tavern keeper, she quickly moved in his way and leaned on a wall smoothly. "Say...Would you happen to know where a friend of mine called Fierce Hook around here?"  She said leaning forward a bit with a grin. Causing a few ponies nearby to turn their heads with pale faces upon hearing the name. He hesitated a bit before answering "Um...Who's asking?" In which Lollipop rolled her eyes "Captain Lollipop. Probably don't have much of a reputation yet" she admitted before motioning to her tall partner "However, I think you can assume that you better tell me anyhoof. Or we might have to talk in private" she said, and motioned for North to do something intimidating.

North chuckled a little, before taking a step close to the barkeep, towering above him. Not too long thereafter, the temperature dropped rapidly, the ground bellow North and the barkeep building up a thin layer of ice.

 

"Ye would not mind telling us anything, no?" he spoke, giving the barkeep a small smile.

 

"Was that good Lollipop-senpai?"

The barkeep let out a very audible gulp, and pulled Lollipop close "Okay, I'll share a bit of info...It's your funeral afterall. They are probably trying to get some cheap swords at a local shop I know. If you go there, then expect them to be armed. It doesn't matter though. You can't physically hurt him. He's eaten a Logia fruit" He whispered into Lollipop's ear in which Lollipop grinned at the mention of Logia. "Alright. Thank you for your help" She said and patted him on the back. before turning back to North "You did well friend. Seems we are heading downtown for some shopping" She explained and slowly started heading out the door.

"Thank ye." he said, giving the barkeep a quick nod, before cooling down the room a bit more, though to a quite pleasant level, before leaving after his captain.

 

"So... A store that sells swords... Ye sure we can deal with them?" he said, bending down a little as they walked.

"I'm very sure. They can't achieve much by slicing you, and I can punch that silly Logia out with a bit of effort." Lollipop responded, insisting that they'd be fine as long as they were careful about it.

 

They trotted through the streets, several shops and stands being present, selling various things of interest. From exotic to practical. "Oooo~" Lollipop said as she looked at a nice necklace before shaking her head "Gah, gotta stay on track."

"Aye, wasting what little money we have now would not be wise..." he said, just as they passed a stall selling berries and fruit.

 

"C-crystal berries..." he said to himself, almost drooling, before he too shook his head.

 

"Yah, careful." he said, chuckling a little, as he looked around over everypony's heads in case they were to bump into the pirate they were looking for.

 

"What power does does this Fierce even have?"

"No idea. The guy just said it was Logia. I know his face, but not much more" She said as they got close to a weapons shop. She nudged North and trotted closer to it, noticing a gang of armed ponies with a rough looking appearance. "Bingo..." she mumbled while looking for the head honcho. "Okay...Would you suggest we just jump them? Or take them to somewhere more private?" She asked North, wondering what he'd be the most comfortable with.

"Hm..." came from him, as he stared in the direction of the store.

"They can defend themselves better if they move inside the building... We know little of Fierce's powers, and we are two seeking to fight many..." he begun.

 

"On top of that, they are in a shop with weapons... They could easily arm themselves if needed be..." he continued.

 

"I say we lure them out somehow. Get them out in the open so we can see how many they are, and not giving them any advantage of walls and such.". He looked down to her.

 

"We could jump them and take out a few before moving back a bit... We'll at least have their attention then, and maybe get them out of there."

"Ah, I see. It would be great to knock a few out and have them chase us through town. Besides, I doubt most of them would be able to keep up." She mumbled and cracked her neck a bit. "We could also enter and then seal the enterance with your powers...That way it would be like a box perfectly suited for a round house kick" She said, thinking deeper about things, perhaps getting ahead of herself.

"I guess we could... It be your call, milady." he said, before frost built up on his fur, as it also grew a little longer and paler, and frozen fangs started slowly poking out of his mouth.

"I am ready when ye are." he finished, as he quickly turned back to his regular self.

Lollipop nodded and trotted into the shop with North before motioning for him to freeze the entrance shut. She got a small grin and trotted up to the pirate Fierce, who was looking at a fancy new blade. "Nice blade you have there? Are you a swordspony?" She asked him, trying to make small talk until North was ready to do his part. The rival crewmembers seemed like small fry, and there was only about five present inside the shop.

North took the hint, and with a quick stomp with his hind-leg just as he passed the door, the door froze over. He took a second to look around, before halfway transforming as he leapt at some of the underlings, knocking out and freezing four of them, leaving only the captain and another underling.

 

He transformed back to normal, and stopped as he looked around the room in case there were anything else to worry about. It appeared that a couple of underlings had gotten locked outside when he froze the door, and his captain was confronting theirs.

Lollipop got a cocky grin and immediately punched the other underling through the back wall before being grabbed tightly around her neck by some sort of unnatural smoke. He laughs menacingly "Did you really think I'd be that easy to take out?" He taunted before Lollipop grabbed the smoke holding her neck tightly, as if it was a physical arm. "Aye~" She replied before pulling Fierce towards her and punching him through the back wall and into the storage room. "Be careful North. He probably has a lot more in him" She said wanting to make it clear the fight wasn't over.

North turned from the frozen doorway, and over to his captain, giving her a nod.

 

As soon as he begun walking towards her, a quick stream of smoke with a hoof in the end, holding a sword flung out of the wall, swinging at North.

 

Being a little slow now, North didn't have time to counteract, and the sword cut at the side if his neck.

 

After the cut, one could se some pieces if ice falling from what appwars to be just a tiny scratch in North's hide.

 

Not soon after that, the rest of thw smoking pirate came out of the wall, covering North entirely.

 

With the hint of a smile, North cooled down the smoke till it was flat on the ground, almoat imobilizing it.

 

"After you." he notioned to his captain, pointing at the now almost still smoke at his hooves.

"Right!" Lollipop said before disappearing from a regular pony's eye and punching Fierce in the face once more, sending him crashing into the floor and, knocking out a few teeth. Yelling in frustration and rubbing his forehead.  "HOW THE HELL DO YOU DO THAT?!" The pirate demanded wondering how somepony were suddenly able to hurt him, to such a degree no less. "Don't you worry about that. If you surrender now, you won't have to deal with it" Lollipop said, feeling like she got it covered. The pirate just smiled and let his smoke spread through the room. slowly encasing the room with choking smoke. "Sorry kids. Not a chance."

 

Lollipop covered her mouth and blurred "N-North. Can't breath"

Staying calm, he did not have to breathe as much.

 

"Captain, prepare to get cold as well." he said, before he used his powers to halfway freeze over the room, forcing the smoke to lay a little lower.

 

Not too long after he kicked open the frozen wall facing outside.

Lollipop started shivering a bit from the cold, but relieved to get some fresh air. The shards of ice swiftly took out the underlings outside, who had been banging at the door the whole time. 

 

Forcing her hooves off the frozen floor, she crane kicked Fierce out the door and into a watermelon stand. Lollipop walked out and put him on her back before bowing respectfully to the melon stand owner "Pardon my accident. Never meant any harm" before turning around and yelling "North, we might wanna move before the marines get here" She said before running oddly enough towards the marine barracks.

Sighing a little the moment she said they had to run, he gave the stand owner a nod before cooling off the melons he had a little before running off after her.

"Why are we running towards the marines?" he asked, his hooves slowly turning to paws, helping him speed up a little.

"Because that's the last direction they'd expect anypony to run. Besides, we need to turn this sucker in. Any suggestions for a disguise of sorts?" She blurred while running at a decent pace. Narrowly dodging a group of marines running past them and sighing in relief

He turned completely back to pony form right before they ran past the marines so they would not get suspicious. "Disguises? I know very little of that... Maybe we could find a store really quickly and just grab something?" he said as they were running, looking around in case something was following them.

"A excellent suggestion" Lollipop stated before stopping dead in her tracks and casually walking into a clothing shop. Motioning for North to follow. Quickly taking off her hat and putting it in her saddlebag, she leans looks around the shop for something cute. Her shopping was interrupted by the shop owner when he noticed the unconscious body on her back. "He had too many. Please do ignore him"

North followed her into the store, and almost had to bend his head down to not knock it into the door frame.

Looking around, he grabbed the first, lightest, least warm thing he could get his hooves on - a thin, hooded shirt and a small scarf which he bound around his neck so that it covered him muzzle as well.

Lollipop put on some clothes that made her look like a typical tourist with a pair of sunglasses to put it slightly over the top. "We'll take these" She said before motioning for North it was time to run. She looked around the ship casually before  storming out of the door. Whistling for North to get the right direction.

Freezing the fur underneath the clothes to stay extra cool he was ready. Paying attention to his captain's signal in the form of a whistle, he followed out the door. Looking around for marines and other pirates, he turned in the right direction the moment he noticed the coast was clear.

Lollipop started trotting at a civil pace, cracking her neck a bit. "I love being able to just do that. Now, if anypony asks for your name. You are just Frosty Hooves or whatever. Call me Violet" She explained wanting it go to smoothly. "Marines might not look like it. But they can surprise you"
