How to kill weeds really easily.

I could just link to one of those "7 ways to kill weeds" page and be done with it, but that's the lazy way.

 

I like to actually try things and see how well they work, like life hacks debunked.

 

Basically, all you have to do is combine vinegar (any kind will do) with about an eighth as much dish soap, and some salt, which is optional, but helpful. Shake/mix it up really well, and pour a little bit of it into the weeds.

 

I'm telling you, two days later, they were dead. Dead. The soap helps keep the vinegar on the weeds and roots. It helps if it's really dry, so everything gets soaked up nice and quickly. Probably best not to do it before you're expecting a rainstorm.

 

Of course, this will kill all kinds of greenery, not just weeds. If you're being selective about what plants you want in a certain area, you're going to be playing a different kind of ballgame.

I tried to make my own weed killer one time, all it ended up doing was killing the grass where I poured it.

Salt kills everything though, so no this isn't a good idea, yes it is if you are only doing this on pavement or something of the sort.

Kinda like how to easily remove a tree stump, just take an axe to the top a bit and poor a bunch of salt, wait a week and just pull 'er up.

First you need enriched uranium and then the rest gets a bit more complicated.

Just be about a hundred miles away from where you set off this weed bomb. Come back later in a lead lined suit with a Geiger counter and I guarantee you all pesky plant life will be dead.

Yeah, I really should've reminded everyone that this isn't safe for lawns or anywhere where there's desired vegetation nearby. This is strictly for places where you definitely don't want anything growing nearby.

I enjoy picking weeds.  I like to destroy my food killers.

 

My uncle, on the other hand,  used a flame thrower to kill his weeds.  Not surprisingly, he also killed the whole garden.
