Is Twilight's Journey reminiscent of Fable III?

Right. So. Twilight's journey has her going from small time librarian to princess. I realized the journey is almost exactly like that in Fable III. She has to get friends. Which is gaining the trust of the leaders in Fable III. She has Overthrown Sombra. Who is like Logan from Fable III. And she eventually becomes a Princess. Which she does not get right away after overthrowing Sombra. Unlike the Prince. Who becomes king and struggles making important decisions. Twilight is also struggling. Do you see the resembalance?

eh, it is a vague resemblance, as Sombra wasn't really "in" power at the time that she blasted him. There is also a question of logans moral in fable 3, as you later learn that he was doing what he was in order to save the land from the evil black jam. So it brings up a whole "for the greater good" moral dilemma. Whilst Sombra was so evil I kept waiting for him to put on a top hat and twirl is curly mustache. The whole reason for beginning the hero's journey was also different in both stories, as Twilight began hers to replace/assist Clesestia, while in fable 3 you begin your journey to overthrow a despot.

But both stories are "hero's journey" type stories, so they are going to share a lot of the similar plot elements, so it wouldn't be to far of a stretch to draw out similarities between the two stories.

Yes, well the Shadows are very similar to the Changelings. The Crawler is like chrysalis. So even more similarities. Although Chrysalis came before. Not after.

In terms of story, they are similar at their base but they are very different in the details.
