MLP Gameloft App Won't load up

The game won't load up past the "Hasbro Gaming" screen. That's too bad considering the fact that I've worked SO hard on this game and I've been playing ever since the day I got my tablet. I DON'T want to delete the app and re-install it and start all over again, considering the time and effort I put into it, not to mention the fact that I was SO close to getting the gems for Rainbow Dash. Can somepony PLZ HELP ME?

Ok, I'm on some conference calls through most of the morning, but for Android users it's pretty straightforward ... and I'm assuming the two things here

1. You at are at least running ICS or later

2. You are not rooted

If you are rooted you already have access to files in the OS directory. If you are not rooted all you need to do is isolate the save file called mlp_save.dat and save it to you PC. Reinstall the game and push the save file back.

you do need to download Android SDK to do the adb push command in CMD though.

This works for me every time when the launcher file stops functioning. I'll PM you some the specific step by step process. I just want to make sure it still works on the new version of the game.

Ice Cream Sandwhich.

Go to System Settings, scroll to bottom, tap About Phone and you will see the version number. If you are running 4.0 then my idea will work.

I have a similar problem, I think? I have an Iphone 5c, and It's all updated. But it just won't let me connect to my Facebook account, no matter how hard I try.

I just checked the phone you have ... it should have Jelly Bean since it was shipped with 4.1. Ok ... now that I am fairly certain of that. Let me emulate your phone just to make sure that you will be able to save and restore the save file back so you don't lose anything. I don't want that on my concious. Like I said I'll PM you with the step by step on this once I confirm it works.

That is happening to me too. It's intermittent on 4G, and I haven't been able to decomile the files on the IOS app to figure out why. If it was just not loading or crashing at the startup screen a reinstall is what is needed, and with IOS there is a tool called iFunBox you can use to save the .dat file, reinstall the app, and restore the file ... that might work in this case. But it's temporary. Most of the issues I am hearing about are from Android users.
