Princess Lona 382 July 4, 2014 Share July 4, 2014 The song Make a Wish from the episode Pinkie Pride sounds an awful lot like Shake Your Tail. Since the two songs were probably being developed at the same time, and since both songs are basically child-friendly party rock anthems, I wonder if this was done on purpose. Is it supposed to be another bizarro parallel between the pony world and the human realm? What do you think? Is it a coincidence, a carefully crafted bit of continuity, or just lazy developers recycling musical themes? Shake Your Tail: Make a Wish: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ash--9kuiO8 My OC, Tabula. Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824 July 4, 2014 Share July 4, 2014 Yeah. You are right. They do sound similar. The only difference is that Make a Wish is in Eb Major and it's about 10 beats-per-minute faster than Shake Your Tail. Shake Your Tail runs at 150bpm, while Make A Wish runs at 160bpm. Shake Your Tail is in D Major. There you have it. RockinRarity 1,605 July 6, 2014 Share July 6, 2014 tottaly similar. Well, they are both by hasbro. Considering that all of the songs in the show are made by the same people more or less, I don't think that "being by Hasbro" is the reason for those two songs sounding similar.
