ooc i funny idea (larping at bronycon?) no idea where to post this

I had an idea. I've never been to bronycon or anything similar, but I assume lots of us go as their oc's....

 

 

I thought I might go as my oc, brim. I would act as her the whole time. then, I thought... what if other's did? we could have an area just for larping! we could interact as our characters! I thought it would be lots of fun. any comments?

I really hope I can go! I mean, there should be a devoted area for larping.... so I don't go screaming about dragons and how I got my book fixed to some poor stranger...,.

I've seen a couple of LARPs at cons (in general, not specifically pony LARPs), and the ones that seem to successfully pull off 'LARP throughout the con' usually have very visible tags that you wear to identify you to other people doing the LARP. Like a colorful ribbon taped to your conbadge (which you are supposed to be wearing extremely visibly even when in costume).

I think people already larp at bronycon. Too bad I'm not going this year, or else I'd go as my OC Thunder Dash.

Not really. I tried to find a link for LARPing at Bronycon, but all I found were several people mentioning that it exists. No indication of when, how to sign up for it, etc. Bronycon's full schedule hasn't been posted yet, so I'm assuming it's going to be buried in there somehow.
