How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I remember seeing some memes about the show and thinking to myself, "heck, I need to find out what all the fuss is about." So I watched one episode and... well, let's just say I ended up watching all of season 1 in less than a week!This show appeals to me for several reasons. First of all, it's a nice break from TV that is becoming increasingly dark, violent, and sexualized. It's great to be able to enjoy an entertaining show that respects the values and morals that I've grown up with. It may sound silly, but I've actually been able to apply some of the lessons to my own friendships. Just because a show is designed for younger kids doesn't mean adults can't learn from it.Secondly, the show is well-written in a way that adult minds don't turn to mush when watching it, which is always a plus. Granted, I've had to roll my eyes at some of the puns the writers throw in there, but they get a few chuckles out of me.Also, the MLP community seems awesome! (for the most part). It's something I want to be a part of. I don't know anyone in person who claims to be a 'brony', but perhaps I will someday.

I am a student at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. My favorite hobby is playing piano. I would say that taking piano lessons was the most rewarding decision of my life. I also dabble in computer programming and composing electronic music.

• Castles! (Visited the UK last summer; explored 27 castles in under 2 weeks. It was awesome)

It's nice to meet you too! I'm sure I will enjoy my stay. The UK is definitely a beautiful place, especially when you get out in the country. If you ever get the chance to visit it, make sure you stop by Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. It's fantastic.
