Does Rarity make her own fabrics?

Does Rarity make her own fabrics for her boutique? It's been made clear that she goes out and finds the jewels she uses herself. Furthermore, she made the fabric Suri stole in Rarity Takes Manehatten and she's never been stated to have a supplier in that regard.

She can probably weave her own fabrics, yes , because we saw how she created her own, one-of-a-kind fabric in "Rarity Takes Manehattan" - of course, she's crunched for time as is and hoof-weaving her own fabric for every single ensemble she creates would be too time consuming and it'd ultimately damage business, which, even though she's the element of generosity and she likely views business as a necessary evil, livin' ain't free

So, no - she has the ability but, like most fashion designers, she likely purchases the majority of the fabrics she uses for her designs

To my knowledge it has been mentioned twice in the show that she makes some specific fabrics.

 

Rarity specifically mentions in 'The Stare Master' that she'll have to make more gold silk to replace the fabric used by Sweetie Bell for the CMC cloaks.

 

In 'Rarity Takes Manehattan', Rarity again says that she made the special fabric for her first line of dresses.

 

To bolster the idea that she makes the fabrics, the Mane 6 in that same episode were operating not just sewing machines, but spinning wheels and looms. Those pieces of equipment would only be used in the making of thread and fabric. The only thing missing from that scene were the dye vats.

 

That doesn't mean that she makes *all* the fabric she uses, of course. But she does seem to make the signature fabrics.
