private Weather Outbreak (IC RP)

"One more hit..." Techny released an electric bomb at the monster and stunned it as he flew. "We need to hide! Now!" He commanded as he flew to the group and into the cave with them. Once they were inside, Techny set up a machine up some sort and disguised the entrance as if it was not there.

The monster looked around for a short while to find the ponies but after some time, it flew off. 

 

"Whew!" sighed Photon Jet. "That was a close one!"

 

Rainbow Dash seemed impressed on what she saw. "Well, I didn't expect you to stun that monster with whatever you had." she said with  a small grin.

 

The group trotted to the place where all the Pegasi and Wonderbolt members gather. Most of them were talking on how bad the conditions outside are.

 

"This is where we evacuated to." said Rainbow Dash to the three ponies. "I'll let you all get along with each other while me and the Wonderbolts discuss on our monster kicking plan." She then trotted off.

Techny nodded with a sigh of relief when he looked outside. "That Weather Breaker won't be troubling us for a while." Techny said with a grin. "Glad you made it in time Techny." Storm grinned and brohoofed Techny.

 

"So it's called a a Weather Breaker?" Asked Storm, curious. "Yes. It has no shape so physical attacks won't work on it... Think it like a cloud. Buck it and it'll reform quickly. I used an Ion Grenade to stun it." Techny answered as he sat down.

Photon Jet never heard of the so-called Weather Breaker before so he was curious to ask what it is.

 

"Techny" he said to the Pegasus who is chatting to Arcing Storm. "Could you tell me what this "Weather Breaker is and how it got in Equestria in the first place?"

"Hm?" Techny looked over to the turquoise earth pony. "The Weather Breaker is quite rare, really. Its origin is still unknown for me..." Techny sighed. "Anyways, nice jet pack you have there. You already knew my name so what's yours?" Techny looked at the pony's jet pack.

"My name's Photon Jet!" he replied. He then showed his jet suit at Techny. "And this is what I need to fly around Equestria. Me and Arcing Storm came here to find out how we can put a stop to that monster. It certainly looked menacing up close I tell you. I guess you must be here for the same reason, am I right?"

"Yep. It's known for extreme and sudden weathers like tornados, floods, lighting bolts and so on." Techny nodded before continuing. "When I saw the sudden dark clouds with the strong gusts of wind, I knew it's a Weather Breaker. Either we stop it soon or the crops and houses will be ruined." Storm just sat there, thinking.

"I hope we all get a plan soon." said Photon Jet as he looked at the floor. "There won't be a tomorrow if we don't have one."

 

A few minutes later, Rainbow Dash and a yellow Pegasus trotted to the center of the area. "Alright everpony, listen up!" called the yellow Pegasus. "What we're facing is the greatest catastrophe we've ever experienced! But this is no ordinary storm...out there is a very dangerous monster which is terrorizing all of Equestria! She then seriously looked at the three ponies in front of her. "Those three over there might know a thing or two about that thing out there, don't you?"

"I do. We won't do anything much without the proper equipment since it's like a cloud which can quickly reform..." Techny then looked in his saddlebag and took out a vial of some kind of a potion. "We can destroy it with this chemical I made. For it to work, we need to pour this over a cloud. The 'changed' cloud will rain and when the 'rain' got over the monster, it will dissolve."

 

"But the problem is how to make it still, right?" Storm asked Techny and he nodded.

"That's what we thought about ourselves." said Rainbow Dash. "That monster can travel pretty fast and can catch up to us almost instantly. Also, we won't get near it because of those dumb lightning bolts!" Rainbow Dash looked down, figuring out what to do.

 

Photon Jet looked back on the jet suit's metallic wings and came up with an idea. "I know a way we can get round those bolts!" Photon Jet spoke and all the other Pegasi listened. "I just remembered that the wings and the energy supply on my suit act as lightning rods which makes me immune to shocks.

 

"So?" spoke a Pegasus from the audience.

 

"Sooo..." he continued. If I can go out on front, I can divert every lightning bolt coming my way so you can close to the Weather Breaker with ease!"

 

The yellow Pegasus thought about it and agreed with an impressive look. "Alright, good plan." she said to Photon Jet. The Pegasi mumbled to each other. "You'll take care of the lightning and Rainbow Dash will take the chemical you've made and dip it on the Weather Breaker since she can catch up to it with no problem at all." She then looked at Rainbow Dash. "Got it?"

 

"Yes ma'am!" Rainbow replied as she salute to her. "They don't call me 'Rainbow Dash' for nothing!"

 

The other Pegasi mumbled to each other, thinking the plan might work. However some of them are having doubts about it.

 

When the yellow Pegasus moved near Techny, she looked at the potion he made. "What's in that chemical by the way?" she spoke to Techny.

"It's just a cloud dissolver ma'am. But since the Weather Breaker is really only a sentient cloud..." Techny answered. "But the quantity of this vial wouldn't be enough. We need a cloud to make a rain of the chemical to multiply it. I can only bring this much." He continued. Storm was only looking around the place. This'd be great for him if the situation wasn't this bad....

"Is it possible to obtain more of that stuff by putting a small drop on a single cloud to make it rain?" Photon Jet said to Techny.

 

"Well, we won't find out unless we try." said Rainbow Dash. "Even if we have a single drop of that left, we'll still try to stop the Weather Breaker! I thought Discord was bad enough but that thing's gone too far!."

"It's possible." Techny nodded in answering to Photon before continuing. "Since this is a modified version. This will dissolve the cloud that we poured this chemical on by making it rain with the original version. The original version of the chemical will dissolve clouds immediately like an acid." Storm just stood by, listening.

"Well, we better see if it works." said Photon Jet who was rubbing his mane. Photon Jet was just getting ready when...

 

"Now hold on there!" said the yellow Pegasus. You sure you want to take the risk? There are millions of dark clouds outside and they're not friendly."

 

"We must try or we won't know for ourselves when we face that Weather Breaker again." explained Photon Jet. "Besides, I'll protect the others from lightning with my suit." He then looked at Techny. "You do have more of those flasks to carry that stuff, right?" he told Techny.

Techny nodded as he pulled out 10 seemingly-glass flasks from one of his saddlebags."Always ready. I also have..." He then took out a couple of inflatable tanks connected to a spraying gun. "Just in case the Weather Breaker won't stay in one place." Always prepared. Typical Techny. Storm grinned, thinking to himself.

"That's perfect!" Photon said in delight. "That's more than enough for us to get busy!

 

Rainbow Dash felt she was raring to go until the yellow Pegasus appeared by her side. "Just make sure all the ponies get back here in one piece after you've done." She told Rainbow Dash.

 

"Don't worry ma'am!" she said. "We'll be back before you know it! Alright team! Let's MOVE OUT!"

 

Photon Jet listened to Rainbow Dash's order and began to leave.

Techny put on the equipments and headed out along with Storm. They waited for orders as they flew but unluckily the Weather Breaker returned. The gusts of wind got stronger and lighting bolts returned. "Not too soon..." Techny said, trying to fight back the gusts of wind.

"Hang on! said Rainbow Dash as she was tackling the wind. "We need to drive the Weather Breaker away before we can move forward!

 

"But how?" questioned Photon Jet, looking back the Weather Breaker from a distance.

 

Rainbow Dash closed her eyes and thought deeply. "I'll go and distract the Weather Breaker while you'll go get more of that stuff!" When Rainbow Dash told her plan to everypony, Photon Jet was shocked! He didn't want her to be the monster's victim. "Don't worry...I'll be back. Trust me!"

"I'll go help! I can stand a few good lighting bolts so I'll be covering!" Storm said as he flew over to Rainbow Dash. "Here Storm!" Techny flew over to give Storm a couple of those grenades that he used on the Weather Breaker to stun it. A lighting bolt struck Storm's wing but he looked fine.

Meanwhile, Photon Jet and Techny are trying to find the right cloud they could test the chemical on. Photon looked left and right and there were nothing but dark, thunderous clouds. "It's no good!" he said to Techny. "We have to try it out on one of those clouds." Testing the chemical on one of the dark clouds isn't going to be easy but the ponies have no other choice in these conditions.

Techny took the chemical vial out and poured it over a dark cloud. It slowly turned green, showing signs that it worked. "Everypony took a flask and collect as much as you can!" Techny gave everypony flasks and collected the green chemical rain. The chemical didn't harmed them in any way. The 'infected' cloud shrunk with the rain before disappearing completely.

Photon Jet held his given flask under the cloud as it rained. "Heh! It worked!" he shouted in delight. He remained still until his flask is completely full. "Looks like we got what we wanted." Then he saw the Weather Breaker from a distance. "Now it's time for us to head back! C'mon everypony!" Photon Jet, still holding the flask headed back, hoping the rest of the ponies would come back safely."

 

"GRRROOOOAAAARR!" growled the Weather Breaker as it headed towards the group.

Techny took the four flasks he filled himself and equipped it to the gun he had brought with him. The flasks' contents soon were emptied into the inflatable tanks before Techny put them back into his saddlebags.

 

Storm threw one of the two grenades Techny had given him at the Weather Breaker, trying to slow it down.

The Weather Breaker was once again affected by the thrown stun grenade but was regaining it's vision a bit quicker than last time.

 

"Hurry everypony!" Rainbow Dash called out to the ponies while dodging the harsh lightning bolts. "Let's fall back regroup with the other Pegasi!"

Storm let out another grenade at the Weather Breaker before he was stricken with another lighting bolt. He held up well and flew back with RD. "We'll plan the next phase! Get back!" Techny called before flying into that cave again. When everypony is inside, he hid the cave with the machine he used before.
