What was the message regarding?  Approval Topic, Topic Moved, or Topic That Was Somewhat Against Rules?

This is actually an error with IB Board. When a user is in the mod queue (used when members have an extensive history of making off-topic posts, abusive behavior, etc.) and he or she replies to your topic, you'll get a notification if the post is approved by a moderator.

Don't worry, you haven't done anything wrong. It's simply a glitch.

Wait, ignore my previous message, it was my mistake.  The Approval Post means that a mod has approved your Topic, b/c someone in there had a Mod Queue, If I am not mistaken.  I had the same issue before, yet that is what I was told.

Ashley is on the right track.

Are you getting email notifications only, or just through the window?

Have you recently made any changes to your notification settings in the UCP? Usually the answer is in the notification preferences.

What forum was the topic approved in?

Have you made any recent status message replies to another users status update or posted in their profile?

On rare cases when there is an outage and restore, some preferences get reset or changed, but I don't believe MLPF had any recent outages.

BTW, here's the quote that Artemis told me, regarding the Approved Post:

It's a little bug. Somebody who got mod queued must have made a post in there that got approved. For some reason when that happens the OP gets notified of his thread being approved.

Like I mentioned before, Artemis (one of the admin) told me it was a little bug.   Don't worry though, :)
